Saints Sign Fujita...'Boys only lose 1 pick

Well I was one record last year as not being a fan of getting Fujita from the start. He came from the worst group of Linebackers in the league. They were bad to a degree that is hard to even quantify. And they chose that year to actually keep one linebacker, not Fujita.

He was not a good player. We needed someone that could start in a pinch, and we got someone. But he was never a good fit and was already peaked.

Cowboys | Team only has to surrender one draft pick for Fujita from 2005 trade

Todd Archer, of the Dallas Morning News, reports to acquire LB Scott Fujita last year from the Kansas City Chiefs, the Dallas Cowboys gave up a sixth-round pick in 2006 and a conditional fifth-round pick in 2007, but he did not meet certain playing-time requirements last season to make the Cowboys give up that pick too. As noted earlier, Fujita has now signed with the New Orleans Saints.

Damn.
I like him.
He's a good quality player.
Burnett better check his ego at the door and step the @#$% up, finally.

Keep in mind that up until last season Brady was also looking like a bust. Patience, my friend, patience.

Believe me my cousin has been working out daily and hopefully stays healthy for he can be a big play LB like he was at Tenn. and I think he will be ok And become the other OLB opposite Ware

What do you mean we lose 1 pick?

We trade the Rams for Fujita. The trade was a 6th round pick this year and conditional 5th. The conditions of the 5th were not met last year (independent of this action) thus we only lost one pick on the Fugita experiement. I assume that is what the original poster meant.
