Oh I agree. It was definitely wise to lead him back to the defender instead of straight down the field.

As far as separation, it just didn't look like he had that extra gear to get underneath the ball away from the defender. He did happen to fingertip it nicely, though.

Whatever. It's not worth discussing. Looked like he had some space, although it's up for debate whether he had space because he "separated", however you want to define that. The space went away when the QB led him back to the safety with his throw. Either way, he made a nice catch.

Yeah, it's whatever. Just my off the cuff observation, he didn't look that fast finishing out the route to me. Ironically, if the pass wasn't overthrown, I don't think he catches it.

If the Saints are not going to make Meachem the number 2 guy, Dallas should inquire about him. I have always liked Meachem. He is exactly what we need at that number 2 spot. Plus, he has the talent to be a number one option down the road.
