Except I don't. I have 1300 posts here and I'd wager 95% are on the Cowboys. I posted a lot about them in erod's post a week or so ago about how he thought we'd win the division by 5 games, but other than that and this thread.............

I just think they are going to be very good this year and I think a lot of people are totally being shortsighted on them. That's just my opinion. And if wrong and they suck, you can pile on me if you want.

Yeah I remember that. Local radio in Charlotte. He got real offended when one if the hosts referred to him as Stinkston. Didn't Michael Irvin make up that name?

Yeah because I was watching us on the computer and they were the local broadcast and they scored 3 times in like 5 minutes to start the game. It was just random comment in a game thread about our top comp for the division. Like no one ever makes comments about other games being played in one of the game threads here.

And I wasn't the only person that mentioned Philly in the game threads either. Someone pointed out how good Bradford looked. Someone else pointed out the lopsided first half score.

While I don't see the Eagles being as good as Sydla believes, how many thought we'd go 12-4 last year? And please with the "You're an Eagles fan". It's sophomoric and trite.

And Sydla's observations are appropriate to this thread because the thread is talking about the Eagles as contenders for the Super Bowl.

I would wager that I am at 99.5 percent but I guess green is a dark color, it tends to bleed.

Agreed. Challenging some ones fandom if they point out they think another team might contend with the Cowboys is childish. I've been a Cowboys fan for 40 years. Went to many a game at Texas Stadium. Caught a couple of games at Sun Devil stadium. Including SB XXX.
And I can say I've been impressed with what I've seen from the Eagles so far. Will it translate to a full 16 games? Not sure. But as Brad Sham likes to say. These games don't count but they matter. The Eagles will be the only threat to the boys in the division. And they'll be a legitimate one.

I do think the Eagles are 1 of 4 teams in the NFC that can challenge the Cowboys for a shot this year.

They may be short on depth though so i think they are in trouble if they sustain injuries. Which they likely will over the course of the season.
