This is why you shouldn't worry about the cap. It ALWAYS goes up. Just restructure and push money back and you will be ok. The bill never comes.

I would restructure everyone you can this year to get as much space as possible to go all in. I don't think the team will, but I would this year to shake things up.

Every team must spend a minimum of 85% of the salary cap over a four year period. It’s not optional. It’s mandated in the CBA. The Cowboys are presently over the cap precisely because “Cap Boy” spent all of it. I do not understand why Cowboys fans think they don’t spend on player salaries. They do because it’s not an option. Honestly I dont think it's very important info just because new contracts are going to be given out based on percentages. The more the cap goes up the more new salaries for player all across the board go. It could go up to $343M but that just means a new Dak extension for example would be $85M instead of $60M.
