I honestly didn’t even notice him out there last week. Some fans were predicting double digit sacks for him. He was even being compared with Parsons by a few on the board. lol One concern with him was his ability to stop the run. It’s still real early so let’s see if he gets more snaps tomorrow.

Yeah, certain fans definitely hyped him up, but he did about as well as you could expect a rookie, who isn't a generational talent to do.

Well I’m expecting more than 6 snaps from a second round pick. The defense will eventually fold up if Parsons is accounting for most of our sacks/pressures. The Cowboys went into the season wanting to see what our young players can do so unleash them and let’s see.

I say it's time to allow Williams to make the most of his talent and increase his reps. He has extremely promising talent and should be allowed to develop it. It's unlikely this team will be a candidate for post-season glory, anyway. The FO already blew our chances for that. I'm hoping 2023 will be our year!

Sam Williams was clearly a project toolsy pick. He quite simply wasn't NFL ready, but has great physical ability.

At some point we'll figure out whether he's Charles Tapper or Trey Hendrickson.
