I have someone questions. I've been an iPhone owner since the first week the first one came out. I've bought every new model as soon as it came out(not the S version of any).
I'm seriously considering getting a Samsung Galaxy S3 but some things have me leaning back toward the iPhone are the following:
Siri - mainly just a competent and well functioning voice command function
As mentioned above, Google Now is better than Siri, but Android offers alternative options as well such as Personal Assistant.
Safari - I love how if I bookmark a site it automatically shows up in safari on my iMac. I also love the new reading list which I use all of the time. i'm constantly adding things to it.
Google Chrome also does this. I can work on something on my laptop and continue right along where I left off on my Android. bookmarks and everything syncs.
AutoCorrect - As annoying as it can be on an iPhone it's better than the others I've seen.
Never had this problem on Android. It gives you word suggestions that you can use, but doesn't automatically replace what you are trying to type.
iTunes - I like that I can access every song I've ever purchased through iTunes when I'm away from home and put it on my phone.
The one advantage of iPhone, but you could easily just transfer all your songs over to your Android MP3 folder.
Anyone care to chime in on how these things are on the Galaxy S3 and if there is anything similar or better on that phone?
Android offers
Swype, which is worlds easier and faster than standard texting/typing, and also eliminates the problem of auto-correct. I don't think this option is available for iPhone. Check out the link.
Also, since Android is Google based, it syncs all of their programs together seamlessly as well, just as iPhone does with their programs.
If you are considering getting the iPhone 6, keep in mind that it doesn't have Google Maps (as far as I know) and the map system that the iPhone is offering is severely behind.
Just so you know, my girlfriend has the iPhone 5 and I have compared it to my Android, and I came away underwhelmed with the iPhone 5.
