Is it a night game or afternoon? I am actually thinking about driving down there. It's gorgeous, the stadium is nice, and maybe I can find some peace of mind about our WR depth for $36.
Night game.

Considering I live within walking distance to Qualcomm Stadium, I'm thinking I'll try to catch that one. Gone to several games there, but this will be only the second time it'll be the Cowboys and Chargers.

We watered our neighbors' plants, mowed the yard, and fed the cat while they were gone to Peru.

We got a pan flute.

You want to do it? I will.

I'd love too Hos, just can't make it...working 2 darn jobs now I can hardly find time to read here. Plus I'm using most of my vacation time this year (and will miss a Cowboys game!!!) climbing Mt Kilimanjaro.

The trade off was a vacation next Summer...Sturgis, Rockies and Grand Canyon. Planning on hooking up with you Bro, get 2 wheels before then bro.

I am actually kind of considering road-tripping a lot of games this year. I can work on the road with just my cell phone and a notebook pc, so I think it would be a lot of fun. The Harley idea sounds best... ride all over the country with the open air... something I haven't done in a while.

First time post long time fan. I am in Arizona and wondering how to watch the preseason games on tv, aside from going there and waiting till NFL network replays them. Any info would be great.

:welcome: to The Zone. Depending on where you are in AZ there are some Cowboys sports bars. In Tucson, Famous Sam's on Golf Links and Kolb. Call and ask if they will have the game. Chances are they will.

Sounds like fun. I love road trips. I drive 70,000-miles across the country every year (I don't fly because of ear issues, long story). I've actually kind of grown to love road tripping.... tons of places to see, and thing to do. Have fun.

Dude, that sounds like a blast. I am not a rock climber and am too big to ever do it well, but I respect those who do it. Too fun.

I will have my scoot by then. Count on it. I am not going much longer without it. Gas is too expensive. I am going to do some serious rides once I am mobile again.

Kind of off the subject a little, but what are you planning to get exactly bike-wise?

A touring bike. Either an Electra Glide, Ultra Classic, or Fatboy most likely. I've had 2 Fatboys. One got squashed by an old lady's car about 5 years ago. I had to sell the other when we were having some financial tight times. I'd say another is a good bet. The bike fits me and I don't look out of place on one. My next one will be blue and silver even if I have to custom paint it.

Sweet. I started off riding crotch rockets (the 0-60 in 2.9 sec kind) nearly got myself killed about 20 times and decided that speed was a dangerous thing for me and retired to Harleys.

It's funny how you get older and realize how much fun it is just to cruise along with the wind in your face... 10 years ago I would have laughed at the thought of me on a Harley, but here I am...

Hope you get your bike soon, I know you must miss it (I know I would!)

I've been riding sine I was 6. Dirt bikes of course. I never thought I'd like road bikes until I got one. I was hooked. I used to love to jump. Nothing like these guys do now, but being airborne on a bike was a rush. I had a Honda crotch rocket when I lived in St. George, UT and when I first moved to Tucson. The speed of those things is addicting. Once again, rode a Harley and got hooked.

Now, I just want to see beautiful country from the back of a bike and take my time doing it. I proposed a TV show to the Discovery Channel a couple of years ago. I think they should have a show that takes you across this country, through every state, so that bikers could plan trips to enjoy.

That is too funny. Last time my wife and I were coming back into town, I was already starting to miss the open road, and I proposed the same thing to her. I think it would be neat to do exactly that, and show the hidden gems across America... the places no one else go, but certainly places they should go to. I go through some of the most unheard of towns in the U.S. and i think about that everytime I take a roadtrip.

Ah, to dream...

I wish I could go but I'll be moving back to AZ a week after the game.

I'll be going to the game in Glendale though!

The ride from Franklin, North Carolina to Hendersonville, North Carolina has about 10 waterfalls to see and passes by the prettiest town (Highlands) that I have ever seen. The town is built around a mountain lake. I had a swan eating bread out of my hand in that lake.

You can walk behind Dry Falls. Bridal Viel Falls is a small one that drops on one side of the road, goes under road, and drops on the other side. So you are driving over a water fall. It's a hike to Whitewater Falls, but it is worth it. It is the highest dropping falls East of the Mississippi at 411 feet.

I have wanted to do that ride on a bike for 20 years. One day, I will.
