Ok, ok....not trying to look ahead by any means! I realize that the Giants are still extremely dangerous. However, that game could be shaping up to be a dandy and dare I say......possible Superbowl preview??? Assuming that we can get by NY and they destroy the Browns, 9-3 vs 9-3!!! Thank God it will be here and not SD. That is going to be one hell of a battle!! Let's just put the Midgets out of their misery next week first....

It's quite possible SD will be IN the Super Bowl and Dallas will be AT the Super Bowl.....watching.

Us as fans can look ahead all we want. It's the players that cant do it.

However, I for one am not even thinking about the Chargers game because if I start getting all excited for a 9-3 against SD and then we lose to NY it's going to sting a hell of alot more than if I was just looking at the NY game as a tough game and we end up losing.

Yeah I love how some fans want to go all sage as if us looking past a team makes a difference what outcome happens on the field...

I'd have to agree. Fans can look ahead all they want; how much we concentrate, or don't concentrate on an opponent... has no bearing in the outcome. Look ahead to San Diego all you want, it won't make a difference.

San diego is the game that worries the most.

I fear they come in and put a ton of points on us and shake our confidence.

Sounds like they've already shaken yours.:)

Here's something to consider. Do you think any Chargers fans are looking ahead to their trip to Dallas in two weeks with a certain amount of dread?

Perhaps they've noticed how well our defense has played this month. Maybe they're worried we will shut down their high powered offense and shake their confidence.

We dont handle our confidence or success really well anyway. Personally I think we've played our best ball this season when we have our back against the wall.

I think this team is mentally tough enough to overcome losses and bounce back. I may be wrong, but I think they have grown enough to handle it now and still achieve success.

If there's a team that isn't scared of our defense, it's our head coach's former team.

They know our scheme very well.

They were playing it like crap after Wade left, almost vanilla, and their defense wasn't looking that good at the beginning of the year. If they knew our scheme very well, they wouldn't have dropped off so dramatically.

Phillip Rivers and his funky machanics worry me a bit. But their Defense is not all that. As long as Romo is on and WRs play well, San Diego game can be be won. KC handed the game to Sandiego in a silver platter.

If not KC was moving the ball against Chargers D at will at first. Then all hell broke lose and turned the ball over every time seems like they had the ball on Offense.

I think Cowboys D will hold them at or under 21. As long as Cowboys O can scrore around 24 -30 on them, the game should not be a problem.

I think they can beat SD more easily than SD can beat us. We have the better D.

Having said that I'll think on that game next week. Right now I need to hate on the Giants.

Only if we turn the ball over and put the defense in bad position. I don't think even SD is good enough to load up on us if they have to do it with 80 yard drives.

I got some really good seats to this game and I think we can dominate the Chargers.

24-10 Dallas:starspin

I hope that is the case. I just fear there offense having a big day.

But I think we can score on them also. I was talking about our defense.

The game will come down to mistakes. The team with the fewest turnovers and penalties will win. I think our defense will be the difference.

I'm not sure what the difference is this season, but I'm not worried about anybody ringing it up on our defense anymore.

There may be one of those games that's more like a heavyweight fight where the teams slug it out taking turns making big plays (see: PHI, game one in '08), but I don't think we'll see a game where we just get exploited on the defensive side of the ball by an offense doing something we can't stop. SD can definitely get us in a slugfest, but I'd still like our chances if we needed a stop against them on the final drive of the game.

I agree. SD doesn't have the D to totally stop us. We should slow them considerably.

LT doesn't scare me at all. He is not nearly the player he once was. I would be more afraid to face sproles every down
