I'm inclined to believe that the Dallas front seven (with the exception of Ware) is not as good as some would believe. They're good but not dominating good. I also believe that coaching doesn't maximize the talent that IS there. Bill Parcells would rather beat a team with a base scheme. The fans want something more diverse, complicated, exotic. It's been said that Parcells doesn't trust them to try anything more exotic because they don't execute in the base scheme. Of course, it's a catch-22 situation here. If they DO execute in the base scheme, Parcells wouldn't want to try anything fancy anyway since he believes the base works. If they DO fail in the base scheme, then Parcells feels the players can't be trusted to do anything different/exotic.

They were getting so much pressure on Green that even when no one was near him he was rushing and throwing off his back foot. Pretty impressive. When you look at the Bears, Ravens and Chargers they are all able to apply alot of pressure on a QB at any given time and all can get significant pressure without blitzing. Probably why they all get a lot of turnovers and are tough to score on.

San Diego's front 7 plays the 3-4 the way it's intended, I wonder if Parcells will cut loose Zimmer at the end of the year......
