That said, I think we have greater needs than drafting a carbon copy of Anthony Spencer.

I'm starting to lean pretty heavily in the direction of our first two picks going to the O-line (depending on availability & value of course).

As bad as our safety play has been in recent years I still am more willing to roll the dice there with current personnel & FA's than I am doing the same with our O-line. We have too much offensive skill position firepower to continue wasting it due to a porous O-line. It is a tough call though, it seems like we have very many needs right now.

Couldn't agree more. A great OL makes the whole team better, and I'm tired of nickel and diming the position, hoping to find a hidden diamond in later rounds. Give me Smith and Pouncy/Hudson/Cannon/Rackley/Ijalana in the first two rounds.

I'm not that high on Smith but if our scouts believe he can resemble Ware than i'm ready to roll with them.

Draft is going to be interesting to say the least.

I agree this will be one of the most interesting drafts in quite awhile with all of this lockout drama.

That's a very good comparison now if he could do what Kearse did then a team will have them a stud pass rusher whether it's Dallas, or some other team.

He and DeMarcus are different from one another.

I don't see it either. To me, he compares to Manny Lawson (San Fran). He's tall, long legged, and lanky with a high center of gravity. Ware's body is more proportional, which allows him to torque his body when turning the corner around an OT. I remember when Manny was coming out, many here (including me) wanted him to be a Cowboy. The 9ers got him, and he sucks.
