Because if I did that, the entire mock draft would have been thrown in disarray.

There would have been mass hysteria. Cats and dogs living together.

I did not do it because I care.
I think it's EXACTLY THE SMART THING TO DO

I honestly believe what is smartest in a qb rich draft is to trade down for value if they are gonna ride out Eli and it's what I expect them to do. Cleveland has to go qb, it's pretty safe Barkley will be there at 4 if they want.
No way he makes it to 4. Both the giants and Colts will snap him up.. .imo

Only if you have multiple QBs you feel equally good about. Otherwise you take your QB. You don't get cute like the Cowboys did in 2016 and let someone else have your elite franchise QB. Prioritize the QB position.

Zeke is great. He's not worth Wentz. Barkley could be great. He's not worth another franchise QB. If the Giants have their QB available at 2 they would be monumental idiots not to take him. If they don't have that guy there per their board, then it's Barkley or Nelson. I think they'll take Barkley. He will energize their fan base and the thought of Beckham and Barkley in the same offense is scary.

It would be interesting for sure.

I think I would welcome that. I don't relish the idea that the Giants get a clue and get a running game.
Would be fine with Giants drafting a RB at 2.

Taking a RB that high is silly.

It's impressive for him to run a 4.40 at 230. The side by side video showed Zeke ahead of him for 30 yards. after that, he passed him.

IF he gets to the Giants at 2 and paired with Beckham that will cause serious nightmares.

I agree. I think the play then is to take Hernandez at 19. This would allow for us to solidify our offense so that we can play the time of possession strategy against the NYG. Also, I think Marinelli will have to get over his problem of heavy 1 tech DTs. I think the play in round 2 would be Hercules Matafa if available, and PJ Hall in round 6. Matafa would allow us to add more pressure to Eli which could help mitigate the problem of the ground game. PJ Hall is a quintessential 1 tech DT, and he would allow us a better chance at stifling their ground game. If Matafa is not available, then we need a 1 tech DT at round 2 or 3. We make play it like this, and we can match that threat.

He was against taking Zeke over Ramsey and still is.

You act as if Ramsey has been a bad pick. If we go careers, I know I wouldn't say it's really Zeke's fault, but I would take Ramsey's at this point, it's also very early. Both have been dynamic. Look at the non first rounder running backs, at that is a very logical reasoning on why not like taking a rb that early. It is the easiest position to transition to the NFL. I wouldn't be shocked if it is the most at a position relative to the field at non first rounders, not counting special teamers.

Zeke led the league in yards per game last year. He led the league in rushing as a rookie. He also, has a bunch of talent around him.

Personally I think they should go
Barkley at #1
Rosen/darnold/chubb/fitz/nelson at 4.
Do the smart thing for once .

Nailed it.........take the best player off the table and get your QB at 4 ( personally I would sign the best FA QB and take Barkley and Chubb, Nelson or Fitz)

Plus Zeke dates women. Ramsey plays with boys. Id take Zeke.
