They are trying to say it takes time to learn a new scheme. Looks like the same old Jaylon to me. Sucks because he is a good dude

I was watching the game to see how he looked. Three things I noticed with the few times I saw him on the field:

1) That play you posted and another one where the runner is already down and Jaylon is 10 or more yards from the play and just goes running toward the pile even though the runner is down and under a pile of other players. It's almost like he is trying to make it look as if he was close to the action when he wasn't.
2) There was another play where the ball was hiked and Jaylon just stood in place for what seemed like seconds. Looked like he was zoned out and didn't know the play had started. Could be his lack of familiarity with the defense but it seemed strange because all the other players on the filed were moving except him.
3) He made zero impact and never was really involved in or around any plays. 17 plays and 28% of the defensive snaps without a single tackle or sniff of a tackle. Thank goodness we didn't throw another $9.2 million at this guy next year.

That is the only thing I hate about all of this. Jaylon seems like a class act and a guy you really want to root for. I just think he has physical limitations due to the injury that are holding him back. Seems stiff and lacks good lateral movement.

It's not physical, it's mental. He's unable to get his mind to work right. If you don't run right at him with a clear and obvious assignment he will struggle
