He's not right. He's a well known Dallas Cowboy and Tony Romo hater and New York Giants fan that uses his platform on ESPN to spew his ignorant opinions out at the masses. I watched the clip of what he said about Dallas and Romo today and its just ridiculous. Do we all really think that just because this social construct that we call a calendar ticks into the month of December that suddenly the football gods reach down from the heavens and afflict Tony Romo with some unclutch curse that dooms all our hopes and dreams? To say this and ignore the fact that teams such as last year's Cowboys lost in December because we had massive injuries on both sides of the ball is to ignore the facts. And these win and in games that people like to harp on Dallas about, people don't give any credence to the fact that every one of those games, except the one that we won against Philly, were played on the road. Fact is, friends, the actions and failures of past Dallas Cowboys teams will have zero bearing on this year's team. Stats from past seasons means absolutely nothing as a predictor of future success. Maybe we get it done this year, maybe we don't but what I do know is that if we do fail it will be because of the unique factors that govern this season and not some silly idea that the month of December is waiting around the corner to give us a kick in the groin.

You can say what you want about his character but i wasn't talking about that, i was talking about what was stated. Over the past however many years every time the Cowboys seem to convince me they are a good team they fail on an epic scale. I agree with you that SaS is a complete dolt and doesn't deserve a job @ BSPN.

What happened in the past irrelevant. This is a new season, different players, different opponents with different player,.

I don't get why people on here continue to create thread regarding what SAS or Bayless say on first take. Both are shock jocks that will say anything to get attention and for some reason this board keeps giving it to them.

Any laying-in-the-weeds imbecile, can, with 97% accuracy, predict "any" team will break your heart, because 31 teams do it every year. He has virtually no risk with his incessant pontifications of pending doom for Dallas. Even if we miraculously won the Superbowl this year, he would gladly take the 30 minute Skip-slap beating and go on his merry way with minimal recourse.

He and his slimy media brethren can continue to subordinate each and every positive Dallas accomplishment, knowing that an eventual slip up is virtually guaranteed at some point in time. Whenever it happens he'll claim to be prophetic and brilliant. It's a true coward's paradise for this bozo and his hate spewing clones.

Oh stop it. You enjoy the journey like most of us. And when the Cowboys win, it's that much sweeter!

It sure would! They'd have to make that "America's Game" edition about 2 hours long for everything this franchise has been through since its last title.

There.. Fixed it for ya. ;)
I don't get why people on here keep clicking on Bleu 's threads and leaving useless comments when they could simply refrain from the urge to read his prose. His posts are guaranteed to irritate close minded individuals. He will say anything to get attention and for some reason closed minded folks keeps giving it to him.

I advise my fellow Cowboys fans to not set their expectations high. This is how you approach it…
1- Face the facts…while we are leading this stinking division you have to admit there are much better/healthier team in NFC.
2- Set realistic targets. Based on information we see now…Div is realistic and maybe a playoff win…
3- Appreciate the effort the team (coaches/players) are putting to achieve something. While they may look under-achieving, lacking in creativity, preparedness..I am sure they are doing their best..might be not good enough but this is what you got..see point 2..

And to be honest..I am really convinced this organization is moving the right direction and things are getting better..

The thing that bothers me is that the Cowboys after one win over .500 were already overconfident and needed a come-to-jesus meetting at halftime against a tired Raiders team. I don’t really buy into the “moving in the right direction” belief. We have been hearing that the last 3 years. This team is extremely inconsistent and complacent. 2 wins over .500 and i can only imagine the hype that will continue to rise over the next week. They need to beat a good Chicago team to prove they have actually turned a corner.

Where did you see that they needed or received a come to Jesus speech @ halftime? I just have a hard time imagining JG going there.

They weren't overconfident. Oakland was spotted 7 points on a bullcrap call and it took a minute to overcome that. As far as Chicago, they're a good team until Dallas beats theme. Then not so much.
