They weren't overconfident. Oakland was spotted 7 points on a bullcrap call and it took a minute to overcome that. As far as Chicago, they're a good team until Dallas beats theme. Then not so much.

Where did you see that they needed or received a come to Jesus speech @ halftime? I just have a hard time imagining JG going there.

It was more of a players thing. They came out flat on all 3 phases. They can’t do that against good teams.

This was the topic of a spirited discussion among the players at the half of the team’s Thanksgiving Day game with Oakland. “We said we can’t lose this game,” defensive end DeMarcus Ware said. “At the end of the day, if we lose this game, guess what, now we’re back to the old team, up and down. We don’t want that. “You lose this game, you’re back to square one again.”
