Saturday NFL Games Thread

They said it was legal because he was inside the tackles... did not know that it was ever legal
ARTICLE 16. HORSE-COLLAR TACKLE

No player shall grab the inside collar of the back or the side of the shoulder pads or jersey, or grab the jersey at the name plate or above, and pull the runner toward the ground. This does not apply to a runner who is in the tackle box or to a quarterback who is in the pocket.

Straight from the rulebook.

Son-of-a-gun. Cool.

Remember when the NFL shortened halftime to 12 minutes because games took too long, then filled the saved time with more commercials?

They did not have to. The outcome was predetermined
Here's an idea. Actually prove that, publish your findings and collect your Pulitzer prize.

Or just be some Rowdy on CZ tossing out theories without evidence. Your call, champ.

Drove me crazy some years back when a team would score. The network would go to commercials.
Returning to the game - the kickoff happens - after the play is over, the game is halted again and they went to a second commercials break!

Texans need to take the first 2nd half possession and score a TD.
Get back a two touchdown lead to put real pressure on the Colts offense.

Stroud is good enough that if the Texans can keep improving the roster, they could definitely compete for a Super Bowl.

Well so much getting up further with the first drive.
Now watch the Colts strike quickly (probably with a razzle-dazzle, trick play) - then go for two and tie the game.

Colts are playing in a Win and you are IN type of game and so far they have punted 4 times and kicked 2 fgs. They even refused to go for it on 4th and 3. So at what point are they going to take a risk and go for it?
