No doubt, go back every year for the big Altoona rivalry game. It's getting pretty bad now, can almost guarantee a fight every year. My uncle was the DA down there for a few years, Tom Marino.

Not sure how old you are but we took a walk down to "The Patch" Only one house remained down there.

Finished Rose Valley..........trying to remember, is that where the famous Rose Valley Hill Climb takes place?

I'm a great looking 44 yrs old. Now stop trying to hit on me. I'm happily heterosexual. :p:

J/K

I know who Tom Is. I'll PM you. No sense turning this thread in to Old Home Days.

I will bet both my kidneys that Quincy Carter is NOT a millionaire.

I won't take that bet, but I will add on it. Give me his contracts and endorsements for the same time period and I would be, many times over, though not right away.

That's the true shame of athletes and movie stars and those with too much money. They love the lavish lifestyle so much that they don't know that true wealth is in what you invest, and I'm not just talking money. They think the money will never stop pouring in. Nonsense.

Look at Roger Staubach. He was never paid anywhere close to what the players today are, but he is nearly a billionaire because he parlayed his salary and character into trust and he took his work ethic and that character and has turned it into an empire.

Magic Johnson is another example. There are many more.

I believe once he get his chance in the NFL he will appreciate it more.
I'd tell you to get over it, but that advice is only for those who were critical.

He will surely overtake Rod Hill as the worst (high-profile) draft pick in Cowboys history

his 2nd rd pick will never take steve walsh in the supp draft. as that pick could have been seau or cortez kennedy.

Errr ... Q was a 2nd round draft pick. We've made tons worse picks.

Errr, um, he was a second-rounder but the first overall pick by the Boys

So that makes him a high-profile pick

QC did this to himself and while I hate to see guys throw their careers away I do not feel sorry for him. He had his chances and made his choices.

Nashville.

I'm a big time Country :starspin

:)

Actually, I do my radio show from here.

BTW, I used to love eating at the Country Cupboard.

Loved the home made *****.

Cool. I love that place as it is half a mile from my house. I eat there probably once a week.

Williamsport to Nashville. That is a drastic change I would think. It sounds as if it was a career move. Hopefully it is working out for you well.

I don't know that I would ever be able to move away as I was born and raised in Danville. No more Pioneers games!

Does anybody know how much Quincy actually banked throughout his career? Unless he blew it all then we can determine if he is still well off. Some people may not care, but I am curious now.
