1) we don't win the division
2)we don't get a wild card berth
3)now that we have been exposed, there will be Dallas blow out games
4)put drop the mike back on the caboose to nowhere

Feel free to get rid of the coach, the QB, the pro bowl pass rusher, whomever. Doesnt matter. Nothing ever changes around here and nothing is going to change once all those guys are replaced.

We'll get in the playoffs. NFC is too weak to keep us out.
Yeah no. Eagles will win the division. Then Seahawks, Bucs, and Vikes win their division. That means the following teams are our competition for the other wildcard spots:

Giants
49ers
Cardinals
Packers
Us.

Two of these teams will not make it. I’m betting on Giants and 49ers making it, but that last spot is really iffy. We’ll find a way to blow it though so I severely doubt it will be us.

McCarthy is a blockhead and should never have been the coach, LVE should never have be resigned, and Dak should have been sent packing. Yes the team would have been exponentially better.

So the question is will 10 wins get us in? I agree that the Eagles, Vikings, Bucs, Seahawks win the division. 49ers and Giants get in. So the last spot comes down to us, Packers and Cardinals. If we tie with the Packers we're out.

Whatever happens, if we make the playoffs we're playing on the road to either Bucs, Giants, Seattle, or Green Bay. Maybe San Francisco. Doesn't look good.

I think 4-4 is the likely result in our remaining games and 10-7 should get us in the playoffs if barely.

MM’s future will depend on our performance in the playoffs. If we totally choke and miss the playoffs he’s definitely gone.

What other coaches would agree to deal with Jerry? Meyer was an absolute disgrace and a maniac. Lincoln Riley doesn't know what a defence is. So he'd have been not very good imo. Sean Payton is under contract and logically won't agree to coach here. So, Mike was probably our only actual choice along with Garrett, and Garrett had lost the locker room.

10 wins isn’t going to be enough. To be frank, I don’t even see us getting to 10 wins, but I don’t think that would be enough.

After today, we are 6-3. Packers are 4-6. Cards are 4-6. 49ers are 5-4. Currently, we’re still in 2nd for the WC behind the Giants, but not for long. I don’t know the schedules of these teams, but I know they can’t be any tougher than ours knowing how our team operates. Regardless I wouldn’t get my hopes up. I wouldn’t even put it past the Commanders to go a few games up on us.

No not Sean Payton please . Check out the Vikings at 8-1 . The Rams in 2 recent SB. The 49ers been to a recent SB . The Bengals . The Bills success heck the Giants and an Eagles team riding high .

If the MM era is a cooked turkey which I’m not convinced of can Jones think outside the box get a young first time HC with assistant coach resume . No more “ ex “ legends with glory from a decade or longer ago. I will say this about today your coming from a bye week and the effort overall was less then stellar .

We have already seen that we are only (maybe) marginally worse with our backup QB leading the team, or maybe just as capable. We have zero run defense and a terrible OC that Jerry loves. Meanwhile, our HC has zero impact, no matter who he is. Where we are really shouldn't surprise me, but it still does.

Unfortunately I believe you're right. 10 wins is very optimistic.

Sick of blaming the coaching around here. It’s weak. At what point do you blame players? They were up 28-14 and didn’t do a damn thing after that. The defense sucked and Dak folded when it counted.
