Pollard may be damaged goods. I've seen an estimate of a 3 month recovery time. Most discussions of the injury don't talk about it as causing lingering problems.

Pollard isn't the RB of the indefinite future, but 1 year should be fine. We just need to draft rbs too.
One of the CZ yahoos here was all mirthful over my recent suggestion that the post-healing period is fraught with problems. Specific to Pollard's injury, I wrote of the psychological side of an injury. Will the runner run with confidence? Will he or she put maximum pressure on tha leg?
Me achillies tendon was severed oh, 20 years ago. I am not comparing two injuries here but I know about mine and anecdotal histories about the hesitancy to fully put torque, pressure, pivot and lateral nuances on a healed limb.

My, the things I write. Me mum in heaven would be proud, don't you think?:)

Complete and utter failure is what we should all be hoping for if we want the future of the Cowboys to be better.

Continuing to wallow in mediocrity with the core guys like Dak and Zeke will only lead to failed playoff success and embarssment each year.

The best case scenario for the Cowboys would be horrible play that forces this FO to move on from a few of these anchors.

I know developing confidence in the recovered leg is not an overnight process, but if the physical healing time is 3 months he has 5 months of training time to get comfortable with the leg again. Professional athlete with professional trainers, whose full time job is to get back ready for the season.
Article says that a couple of other players had the same surgery. I've yet to see an indication in any article that this should be a long term problem.

Pollard should be at full strength well before training camp. Tua Tagovailoa underwent a similar surgery while at Alabama, and Tennessee Titans quarterback Ryan Tannehill also had the procedure recently.

With Pollard being a question mark after injury we absolutely have to draft a running back.

Yeah we need a DT and OT and RB and a CB in that order I'm going to say.
I think Ferguson and hendershot can take over for Schultz and hopefully Gallup will be back two full strength and maybe cap boy will get off his wallet and get us another good wide receiver
Our starting # 1 te plays alot of snapcounts in our offensive scheme. And alot of dual te snaps also

So we have to put a lot of stock in availability.

All because #82 wouldn't come off the field. Lol.

Our top te was getting 10 targets per game down the stretch!!!

I know that and you know that but Jerry would consider that area of need “satisfied“ with the addition of OBJ
I don’t know. At the time we took Lamb WR wasn’t a big need. I don’t think we take a WR at 26. Mostly because I don’t think the quality will be there. But that could change is a top 10 type fell there. I think even if we sign OBJ, and I think we will, we take a WR in the top 3 rounds unless there just isn’t a guy near the quality of another area of need.
Today if I was betting I’d say 26 is gonna be a CB and if he’s there, Porter would be the pick. But it’s still a long time and everything hinges on the 25 picks before you

Where are the changes? Beckham? Why are the only changes we ever make the bringing in of fools?
