One of the CZ yahoos here was all mirthful over my recent suggestion that the post-healing period is fraught with problems. Specific to Pollard's injury, I wrote of the psychological side of an injury. Will the runner run with confidence? Will he or she put maximum pressure on tha leg?Pollard may be damaged goods. I've seen an estimate of a 3 month recovery time. Most discussions of the injury don't talk about it as causing lingering problems.
Pollard isn't the RB of the indefinite future, but 1 year should be fine. We just need to draft rbs too.
Me achillies tendon was severed oh, 20 years ago. I am not comparing two injuries here but I know about mine and anecdotal histories about the hesitancy to fully put torque, pressure, pivot and lateral nuances on a healed limb.
My, the things I write. Me mum in heaven would be proud, don't you think?
