This was brought up on Cowboys-Forum, and I thought it was a good idea for Cowboys fans.

Since Terrell Owens is getting off to a new start in Dallas, let's drop the persona he has become over the years: TO.

Let's follow the coach's example and refer to our new star receiver as Terrell. (If you are able to attend games and are the type of fans to make signs, avoid the use of TO.)

We are fans of one of the most recognized and talked about teams in sports, so let's show the world that Terrell is being given a chance to become a new man in Dallas.

Apparently you do not care what I call you.
I didn't mean you in particular. I just meant, who cares what anyone calls him whether its TO, Terrell, or whatever.

Ah, it's primarily just for fun ... but it would be neat to see no signs at Texas Stadium with TO on them, only with Terrell or Owens instead.

Of course, that won't happen, but I'd love to see it. The media calls him TO, as do most fans, so I think it would be great for Dallas fans to adopt a different "view" of the team's star among stars.

I'll just call him the guy who had 2 TDs and 100 yards last week against the Commanders.

A few games in we'll be calling him Mr. Touchdown

But what's with this "eldorado"? Funny how the two most visible big name black players, Vick and TO, have basically slanderous mexican nicknames. Ron Mexico. Eldorado. Is this some sort of "side-step" racism inside joke that I'm missing? Anyway, whatever, I don't care really, just an observation.

Hey before you start throwing out the race card again, do some research. el dorado is terrells middle name. Or at least pay attention when we sign pple. You dont have to work for the CIA to find out what his middle name is. Maybe his mom is racist, I dunno?

And Ron Mexico is an Alias that Mr Vick made up hiomself. Nobody gave these names to these pple. Quit trying to cause problems and use the race card like a damn frisbee. Learn before you talk and you will sound a lot more intelligent.

It's Owens' middle name.

And how is Mexico slanderous? It's stupid...But slanderous...NO.
