Say no to "TO"

I've been avoiding the TO moniker all along and just referring to him as Owens. My reasons are a bit obscure but it has to do with not pandering to his ego by referring to him by only his initials. So I call him by his name just like I would any other player.

The Ron Mexico name generator says his name should be Robb Dijibouti, so that is what I'm going with.

Better then any receiver in the draft huh? Man, you sure you wanna go that far out on a limb? j/k, but this savior talk is so stupid. hes not gunna do anything without an oline. And your saying that Glenn, Witten/Fasano, Jones and Bledsoe could not do it without el dorado. What little faith you have in your boys. Its talk like this that makes me wish he'd break his leg water skiing in the S of France or somewhere, just to prove we dont need this freak. The boys are not chopped liver without el dorado. If that line is gunna be dependable, we have the pieces in place without el dorado to be good. With him, behaving, wee are better, no question, but to act like el dorado is the piece that made us is total bull crap.

You can call him Terrell, Owens, TO, Eldorado. You can like him or hate him. Buy his jersey or hang him in effigy. Boo him or cheer him. It doesn't matter.

He can flip the ball to the ref or flap his arms like a bird. He can put the ball on the star or calmly run off the field. He can talk trash to his opponents, do situps for the press, or refuse to talk to anyone. It really doesn't matter.

As long as the man is productive and respectful to his coach and his teammates, the rest is show biz. Get your popcorn ready.

A few games in we'll be calling him Mr. Touchdown

But what's with this "eldorado"? Funny how the two most visible big name black players, Vick and TO, have basically slanderous mexican nicknames. Ron Mexico. Eldorado. Is this some sort of "side-step" racism inside joke that I'm missing? Anyway, whatever, I don't care really, just an observation.

Shockingly uninformed...

Eldorado is Owens' middle name, and Vick made the Ron Mexico name up for himself.

I think we should give him a new nickname: Popcorn and refer to him as Terrell "Popcorn" Owens

you call me Ray or you can call me Jay or you can call me Ray Jay...etc...

Agree. The only thing you forgot .... "I love me some me." :laugh2: That quote just cracks me up. That's gonna be my touchdown celebration chant.:starspin

IF TO is THE ANSWER and helps this team win a record 6th world title than I will call him God.

You may have an interesting conversation with a certain man upstairs in a while. I would love to be a fly on the wall when this topic comes up.:laugh2: Youknow how he feels about having other gods before him and all that.

whatever ya wanna call him - or even if ya choose to try to ignore him... the Dallas Cowboys offense has recently become one of the few that defensive coordinators will have nightmares about.

to this point, i dislike the man... but i'd look pretty silly if i tried to dispute that he is one of the most dangerous players (much less WRs) in the game today.

i'll probably try to celebrate TO TDs directly disproportionate to the amount he celebrates. if he pulls out a sharpie i'll try to yawn. if he casually flips the ball to the ref - i'll be a pair of legs dangling from the ceiling.
