Telling people they need to stop blaming uncontrolled circumstances, but blame your own team who had every chance to win the division is flaming? Wow....

And if whining is what you choose to do about the situation, you deserve to be flamed. Get over it.
Meh....blanket statements like you don't know football and you don't deserve to be a fan come off very...confrontational. Especially when it is a matter of opinion.

If you disagree with my take you have the knowledge of a 5 year old ;)

Where did I whine???? You stated your opinion on his posts, and I stated mine on your post. I wont waste my time with you, but honestly you should think before you post.

Reading comprehension is wonderful thing.

I never claimed you were complaining, I meant those who do complain deserve to be flamed.

Again, more nonsense. What purpose does this serve? Yeah, I could get into a war of words with you, but I don't like making kids cry.

Move along unless you have something more than "nanny nanny boo boo" to post.

Yep...just taking a stroll through this thread to make sure it doesn't go "over the top" and become personal....it sure would be a shame if someone(s) got a vacation and wasn't here for the Commander game.

And if we had beaten Washington, Seattle, and Denver like we should have, we wouldnt be talking about this.

Because I know that when NY clinches the division by 1 game, there will be no less than 10 threads whining about their extra "Home" game against NO, I want to get a point across: Get over it.

If you honestly believe NY would have lost to the Saints on the road, you dont know football.

1) You obviously don't know the Saints. They look like SUPER BOWL contenders early in the season, then Super Bowl PRETENDERS late in the season.

2) The Gints saved themselves extra jet-lag time, which benefited them GREATLY in the long run.

3) Blame Tom Benson on this 'cuz this Scrooge made MILLION$ from this game.

HOWEVER, with that being said...

If Cortez made those kicks in the Skins and Hawks game(and Cundiff that chip-shot in the Denver game), we would be 1-2 game UP on the Gints now.

So no-if we don't win the NFC East, we have noone but ourselves to blame 'cuz we had a goldmine of opportunities, ultimately.

What would they have been favored by at NO? 4 points? 5? Nah, upsets like that never happen in the NFL. Except for every week of every year.

I won't whine about it if that turns out to be the case, but to say it wasn't an edge, possibly a decisive edge, is wrong.

Please ! Cowboy fans, We have no one to blame for the situation we are in but ourselves. 3 point loss to the seahawks a game we should have won. Loss to the sorry*ss raiders,we should have won,Loss to the deadskins last minute nightmare.
See the connection here?

Conservative playcalling, Allowing teams to stack 8/9 men in the box and not using quick slants to beat these fronts and a refusal to stop running that prehistoric Giants offense from the 80's. Yes! BP has done a fantastic job drafting and putting together a pretty good defense, he would make a great GM, however his Refusal to cut off the heads of teams that we dominate for 58 minutes because as he claims" there are too many chance to have bad things happen when you open up the offense!" has left us looking up at the Gints And teetering on the brink of being eliminated from the playoffs.

With all that being said " GO COWBOYS!" Hope we destroy ever team we face these last three games!!!!!!!!!!

Wellm just because of the sayings "any given sunday" and "anything can happen in football" - IT IS NOT a given that the Giants would have won had they played New Orleans AWAY.

The Extra home game IS an advantage. That is why you have 8 home and 8 away games. Making all things even.

With that said, there have been enough games for alot of teams that have ended up losing where they should have won and winning when they should have loss. The Giants and Cowboys are both recipients and givers of these games.

So all is balanced in NFL. I wont and dont blame extra home game for anything. The Giants have done enough to be in the position they are in. We have not done enough and deserve the position we are in.

That's interesting. I think it's only right to make mention of the extra home game. Home teams have won 60 percent of games played this season. That's everyone, all season. Yes, the Saints have turned out to be quite a dog - again, but they had just won their opener in Carolina.

As for the Giants, hell yes it's a pretty big deal. Why not give teams nine home games some years and seven in others? Parity and balance are very real. Home games in the NFL are precious. Sixty percent. We can assume all day the Giants would march into San Antonio and come out with a win, but at that point of the season, who knows?

Of course, I picked the Panthers to kick New Orleans the week prior, especially being that it was in Charlotte. I'm glad I took the loser in that one. Anyone who did not certainly does not know football.
