This speaks directly to my ability to spot talent, or lack thereof, but everything I hear from the players and coaches says that Jenkins has a world of talent. But it's Scandrick that I've been mostly impressed with on the field. This includes seeing them live at training camp and at the SD game two weeks ago.

A former Dallas Cowboy scout Brian Broadus said as talented as Jenkins is there is people in our scouting department who think Scandrick could develop into the better player.

Thats not a knock on Jenkins at all because i've heard his coaches and teamates absolutely rave about him.

Burnett and Owens have straight up said Jenkins is a future pro bowler.

Also this brilliant guy named CATCH17 said out of all the Rookies in this draft class he is the most safe pick as well as the most prepared for the NFL.

June Jones said something very familiar. Jones ran a very lopsided, pass oriented offensive system and Scandrick was in the same conference, so he should know. Course he isn't as smart as that catch17 guy you talk about.

Clearly, you don't have a high enough regard for my opinion. You should probably revise that upwards a bit so that you're in line with the rest of the board.

No, I just have more regard for, you know, pro scouts, who valued Scandrick far far less than Jenkins.

I have more regard for the opinion of pro scouts, too. And for the secondary and defensive coaches that have Jenkins higher in the rotation. That doesn't mean I'll be shy about relaying my own observations, and Scandrick's been impressive whenever I've seen him so far. I'm not sure what I'm missing, but he sure looks to me like the better player of the two at this early date.

Of course, Scandrick is playing lower on the depth chart so competition may have something to do with it.
