So after watching the game yesterday in total disbelief of what I was seeing, than coming here after and reading these posts. It reminds me of how much Jeery thr GM is just a fan like we all are. Which scares the **** out of me. I honestly belief this win can set us back another 5 yrs.
* If you do something once you should be able to do it all the time, after 3 weeks of getting whipped in the media and by fans finally these pro athletes found their pride and came out and played with fire and mistake free football (except Bennett). We really haven't seen this all year except against absolute garbage teams.
* The play calling was totally different, makes you wonder whats going on, Designed QB runs alot of pre motion, moving 2 TE at the same time to offf balance line and throwing the other way, using Austin and Pollard, etc, etc you get the idea. Where the hell has that been?
* Next to no dumb *** penalties (Bennett)
* So what scares the hell out of me after a win like this is this was the best remaining team on our schedule, the Eagles look terrible and I wouldnt be shocked if we went their and beat them by 2 TDs and than their is Washington who we should beat but who knows who we rest becaus it wont mean anything.
Now follow me here, We host a home playoff game the game is close for awhile or we win and than lose next round. Does it give Jerry the idea of keeping Garrett. That thought alone scares the **** out of me.
* Im a fan from NY for 47 yrs I follow and live and die with this team every game and year, just like a lot of you. Im convinced beyond all means that this entire coaching staff including the guys that wash the jock straps should be cleared of the building, an entire new staff be brought in to run the show.
I never want this team to lose I want to see this out but I just pray that Jerry does what needs to be done, I firmly belief with the right coach what we watched yesterday we would see on a weekly basis with this roster.
On a side note Jerry the GM needs to step down and have a buffer for a GM. Dont understand that thinking but it is what it is, one thing at a time.

We would have to at least make the NFC championship game for Red to not be fired....

+1

Scared as well... especially after reading JJ’s comments about riding Garrett’s “coattails to a fairytale ending.”

I can already see the narrative when we win the next two games: “This is just like when the NYG got hot and won the SB when they were 9-7!!!!!”

If Jerry keeps Garrett after this year I'll blame Jerry for all of Garrett's mishaps. The writings on the wall Garrrett sucks. 3% of the posters on this site would make a better coach than Garrett.

He is not going to get fired his contract runs out. But I don't think JG signs a new contract without going to the SB

It’s a win/win for jerry
He wants to win and he got a win yesterday
He wants Garrett to be the HC
So Garrett takes this team to the super bowl and Jerry wins, or they don’t and Garrett is gone
I don’t think jerry is staying with Garrett unless we get this type of game the next couple and throughout the playoffs

I will give Garrett credit for having his team prepared this week. I have no idea what motivated them to play, but whatever it was, it worked.

Antuan Woods had the best game of his career yesterday. Early in the game he was stuffing Gurley every time he took a handoff.
Sean Lee had an incredible game too. That INT was a thing of beauty and the return was even better.
Witten made an incredible one handed catch on a ball that was behind him and then took it in for a TD.
Zeke was running like the old Zeke. That step is still missing but he was seeing the holes and more decisive than he has been all year. He ran with power and determination.
Kudos to the entire offensive line. They were dominant today. Best game Frederick has had all year. Tyron looked more like the old Tyron. Zack Martin showed why hs is an all-pro and Collins did a great job too. That Rams defense had been dominant since they traded for Ramsey.
Pollard had a big day too, running with speed and power.

The amazing thing is, they put up 44 points and the WRs did very little, other than the 59 yard TD to Austin. Dak was a little off on his throws a lot of the time but it didn't really matter. In the end, this was a team effort and a team win.

Its true the Cowboys had only 4 penalties but those 4 game the Rams 3 first downs and another shot at a 2 point conversion. Michael Bennett lined up offsides twice on 1 drive. The first time it resulted in a 1st down, after a failed 4th down attempt that would have given the ball back to Dallas. The Rams got 4 more downs and a TD on that drive. Then he line up offsides again on a failed 2 point conversion. The Rams got a second chance and made the conversion. That 8 points for one of the dumbest penalties a defensive lineman can commit. And to be honest. I looked like he lined up offside about 5 or 6 other times too. What the heck is wrong with his eyes?

Let's hope he fixes that this week.

I am not convinced this game means anything in terms of next week's game against the Eagles but this was a big win.
