Scenario For Dallas Clinching HFA This Weekend

We need to win vs. the Giants and have the Seahawks and Lions both lose, and we win the NFC East, secure the bye and obtain Home Field Advantage throughout the playoffs all in one weekend.

But yeah, the Bears are without Cutler now.

Not very likely, is it?

At least we can clinch the division with a win over the Giants and the Packers can grow our lead over Seattle by beating the Seahawks.

Bears seem to be putting it back together. Might make this more of a battle than some think. Running offense through Howard is a game changer for them.

I'm looking at the defense/offense stats this year and the Bears actually rank higher than the Lions in almost every category. What really stands out is the Bears have a top 10 defense; they rank 7th in the league right now. The Lions are 15th.

The last 3 games this Bear team didn't quit. Lost by < 7 to the Titans and the Giants before beating 49ers on Sunday.

If the Bears can avoid turnovers and prevent Stafford's usual late game heroics they could pull this out.

I'm confused. In the item that appeared in my local newspaper this morning, they mention the Cowboys winning, the Lions losing, the Seahawks losing, but nothing about TB losing for the Cowboys to wrap up HFA. Are they missing something?
