In order....

1: Philly beats New York today

2: New York beats New Orleans next week (Or Carolina beats them the last week of the season, it really doesnt matter as long as we win out)

3: Dallas beats Philly and Detroit in their final two games

Dallas finishes 11-5, the Saints finish 10-6, and Dallas gets a first round bye

Definitly within the realm of possibility

If we win out we have the East. If we win out and the Saints lose one more, we get the #2. That's all I'm looking for at this point.

I'd rather face the Garthia led Eagles and the Lions than the Gints and Carolina. Advantage Dallas.

Doesn't matter who wins that game, though. We win out, Saints lose one more, and we are the #2.

Again, the Giants are the best chance for the Saints to lose, and if they win this week, we will have conflicting interests about who to root for next week. I know if we win out is doesnt matter, but this was the best possible scenario.

Another reason why the Eagles need to win today. I'd rather face them at some point than New York.

Correct. Just forget all the other crap.

I see it as very possible things shake out like that.
Saints go into NY and play a gints team fighting for their playoff lives. Saints came back to Earth today, will face a tougher defense with the gints than today, and won't be able to stop the gints running game.
I think the things are lining up real nice for Dallas to get the #2 spot and the bye.

Things have gone well this year when Dallas has needed help from other teams. Unlike last year when nothing went right.
