No I would not take that.
Why do people think we lose to the giants at home. Yes it can happen, but I just don't see it. Maybe i'm in the minority. We should come out of those games no worse than 3-2, but no reason we can't go 4-1. I'mn not afraid of the Cardinals at home either.
Don't drink the kool-aid or eat the cheese? Well that goes for other teams too. Some don't buy we can win, but they buy the other teams can? These aren't juggernauts like Seattle seems to be.
I expect Dallas to win some hard game, games that some feel they can't win. That is when you will know this team is for real. I believe in them. If at the bye we are 6-4 I will take it and hope they can fight through it but losing 3 of 5 would be a disappointment. Frankly I expect guys to work and improve week to week not taking steps backwards
Wouldn't be disappointing yet. It's how you start, you don't winning anything at mid season point.
Like it or not. They will take steps backward.
Doesn't matter right now... It's how you finish.
No you don't win anything at the beginning of the season but you certainly can put yourself in a position so that you are not having to depend on others to lose or have to come down to week 17 to see if you can make it to post season. If Dallas is 6-4 losing the next 3 out of 5 well that is not something I would be thrilled with. I find it funny it is those who have the least expectation who question those who have a bit more faith in this team.

There are many "position" changes/controls that are still to be had as late as 2nd to last game of season. In many cases the last game.
Too much is made of this early on.., even mid season.
Has nothing to do with faith. Too much is made of games early on... Mid season.
Look at Cards...
Look at the cowboys... Do or die last game of year how many times now?
I get your point. But often times there are won and you are situations. Often times. Often.
No way we will lose to the Giants at home. I wouldn't give the Cardinals game away either. I think we could be 7-3, or 8-2 at the break. So, no I want better than 6-4
We go as far as the Health of the OL takes us. We can honestly beat any team as long as we have this OL intact. The minute we start seeing injuries in the OL, that's when the season will be over IMO.
Week 1 L 49ers (28) Cowboys (17)
Week 2 W Cowboys (26) Titans (10)
Week 3 W Cowboys (34) Rams (31)
Week 4 W Cowboys (38) Saints (17)
Week 5 W Cowboys (20) Texans (17)
Week 6 L Seahawks (45) Cowboys (24)
Week 7 L Giants (27) Cowboys (21)
Week 8 W Cowboys (31) Commanders (14)
Week 9 L Cardinals (31) Cowboys (28)
Week 10 W Cowboys (17) Jaguars (7)
So we'd be 6-4 heading into BYE, having Rolando and Carter back 100% healthy for the 2nd part of the season. Would you take that record if you could?
Remaining Games
Week 12 @ Giants
Week 13 Eagles
Week 14 @ Bears
Week 15 @ Eagles
Week 16 Colts
Week 17 @ Commanders
Chances are, to make the playoffs we'd have to finish 9-7 or better. So if we're 6-4 heading into BYE, that means we have to at worst split the final remaining games (3-3). And 4 of the final 6 games will be divisional rival games looking to spoil our season, 3 of which will be played on the road.
Honestly, if we head into the BYE at 6-4 we may be in for trouble. I'd feel much better sitting at 7-3 or better. I know we still have 5 weeks to go until the BYE, but this is just hypothetical and it doesn't hurt anything so what the heck.
