I wouldn't take it as we sit here right now, no. That being because I feel like there is a good chance that we can be 8-2 heading into that bye.

I don't believe we can beat Seattle, especially in their house, but I think all those other games are very winnable and I believe we could head into the by at 8-2.

No I won't take it.

I'm also tired of hearing we're supposed to lose to the Seahwaks.

Is San Diego really supposed to be so much better than us?

We get an extra day to fly over there, they play tonight.

They're awful tough at home but we're used to playing on the road anyways apparently.

Let's see that physical defense when they have to deal with our physical offense. Our big guys bruising everyone up.

I also don't see their offense as complete, very intermediate and Harvin has a history of getting banged up easy. Wilson still doesn't take over games. Now Lynch is the issue over there.

Week 1 L 49ers (28) Cowboys (17)
Week 2 W Cowboys (26) Titans (10)
Week 3 W Cowboys (34) Rams (31)
Week 4 W Cowboys (38) Saints (17)
Week 5 W Cowboys (20) Texans (17)

Week 6 L Seahawks (45) Cowboys (24)
Week 7 L Giants (27) Cowboys (21)
Week 8 W Cowboys (31) Commanders (14)
Week 9 L Cardinals (31) Cowboys (28)
Week 10 W Cowboys (17) Jaguars (7)

So we'd be 6-4 heading into BYE, having Rolando and Carter back 100% healthy for the 2nd part of the season. Would you take that record if you could?

Remaining Games

Week 12 @ Giants
Week 13 Eagles
Week 14 @ Bears
Week 15 @ Eagles
Week 16 Colts
Week 17 @ Commanders

Chances are, to make the playoffs we'd have to finish 9-7 or better. So if we're 6-4 heading into BYE, that means we have to at worst split the final remaining games (3-3). And 4 of the final 6 games will be divisional rival games looking to spoil our season, 3 of which will be played on the road.

Honestly, if we head into the BYE at 6-4 we may be in for trouble. I'd feel much better sitting at 7-3 or better. I know we still have 5 weeks to go until the BYE, but this is just hypothetical and it doesn't hurt anything so what the heck.

The Giants are getting stronger but we play them at home. Arizona is a good team but we have them at home also.

6-4 is the worst case szenario. I expect us to go 1-1 in the above mentioned games. So i hope we'll be 7-3 going into the bye.

I could also see us give that Seattle game away by resting our injured players 1 (more) game (McClain, Carter, Melton).
