I'm more wondering what fans in this thread are thinking!

1. The Eagles acquired a young top tier defender in exchange for McCoy.
2. Gore is more the north-south runner suitable for Kelly's offensive style.
3. Gore catches, blocks and runs. He's not what he was a few years ago but you all are forgetting how lame the SF line was becoming.

Philly grabs two good players for one...and people here want to question it? I think you all are the looney ones and to watch you all bandwagon about this is a bit embarrassing.

It is likely that Kelly views Gore as a 1-year (2 year max) bridge.

1. He's coming off of an ACL and is still unproven.
1. He's on the down side of his career.
3. Great for him he's still past his prime.

This would be like the perfect storm. However, I don't want them going after Spiller which is what I am afraid they'd do.

I know its bad football karma to laugh at other team's misery, but this stuff is too funny. Watch people will say how this is actually a brilliant move by the great Chip Kelly.

According to "sources" it is actually Chip Kelly who rescinded the offer. Apparently Gore wasn't quick enough to accept for Chip. He wanted to huddle with his agent first.

The Chipster does run a fast paced offense . . . .

Funny if true. Kelly is a bit more arrogant than I thought if that is the case.

Well, I am sure he played hard ball with college kids back at Oregon.

Sorry, but this is the NFL.

i think what happened was he was told maclin would be ultimately get signed, then he witnessed maclin go to the chiefs and he was probably the best player on their offense. which as we know, would be hilariously embarrassing. cooper/huff/sanchez or foles and frank gore.

LOL

If Chip doesn't land his QB in the Draft, it could get ugly. (Not that the QB has many weapons right now anyway.)
