What’s going to be really interesting is at this time next year after another early playoff exit (or worse) and Jerry decides to not extend McCarthy, AND the caliber of available head coaching possibilities is way less than what is available right now.

thats what is surprising to me, with bill and harbaugh available he doesnt want either of them !
How can anyone choose mike over either of those 2 ?????

I can see it. Dak is gong to get that extended or we rode it out this year take a 54 million dollar hit. You can’t bring dak back without bringing McCarthy back. I’m not upset about losing out on belechick his career is winding down. I am upset about missing out on harbaugh

Bill had no talent in NE , winning all the time means no high draft picks for years.

Easy, those two coaches would demand change and accountability and limit Jerry’s ability to meddle and play with his toy.

It hasn’t worked out as planned with any of the coaches he’s hired since Barry Switzer, which means it’s likely not the coaches but the players. We see the same troubling issues with every coach when the playoffs arrive. Jerry might want to stop coddling his players and making excuses for them.

A 3rd comp pick not a 3rd rounder. Good grief. I never mention any picks in any specific rounds in my entire post.

The early prediction was two 6th rounders with one possibly becoming a 5th. Plus Brown which would be a 7th.

Fans of other teams are usually spot on about Jerry. If they hate a move he makes, it's usually a sign Jerry did something smart. Think back to when Jerry took Lamb despite us not actually needing a WR. Eagles fans lost their minds. Or when we ended up with Parsons. NFCE fans were peeved we were able to get a pick or two extra and still end up with the guy we wanted.

So in looking around our rivals fanbases right now?

They really like this move. Because they know it's the wrong one for us.
