It's gonna be....

Boy did we screw up with Cutler!"

I still think Denver got the better end of the deal. Probably get their hands on Sam Bradford next year. Cutler's a whiny player - did you hear how he threw Devin Hester under the bus for that back-foot Favre-esque interception he threw in the game this weekend? I don't want a guy like that on my team. He'll never win anything.

That was before ESPN hired him. ;)

And the Giants don't need any receivers -- they have Ramses Barden. Just ask Mosley.

Love it, haha. Surprised that Hakeem Nicks has been nicked up (athankya!) this preseason. We'll be able to key in pretty well on the run against them.

Now how many months went by before we released TO? Jerry fought that to the end, and could have always changed his mind. Considering all the media stories that were coming about with TO, anyone saying his days were numbered could have just pointed to all those stories. Nothing tocredit him at all.

The bold part is the issue. You don't guess something and report it as a fact.

And I really have nothing against Twitter. I don't do it, but I'm certainly not pissed at it. It's just that a professional reporter can't put news out on it and then claim "Oh, it was just a tweet" like Schefter did.

Oh did he say that it was just a tweet? I didnt know that. Either way, ESPN reports crap all the time that isnt true. I think because its Twitter, old people are being critical of it.

Yeah, he was on Galloway's show to explain this and he got super defensive about saying we were interested in Vick. Part of his defense was that "this was a tweet, not a report".

Twitter is fine for getting news out quickly IMO. Seems just like an abbreviated blog post to me.

Adam_Schefter Most people thought Cowboys and DE DeMarcus Ware would have deal by now. But they haven't talked contract since beginning of summer. Sticky.

Wow this is news? I think everyone pretty much knew that there hasnt been a whole lot of movement lately on this. I doubt that there is even an ounce of reason for concern with this.

It's not considered "news" by many anymore, it is what it's become, Gossip. I hate it but that's what sports reporting has been reduced too IMO. It used to be things weren't reported unless it could be confirmed as fact. Now 50-50 isn't a bad average at all in the sports reporting game. Just throw it out there and if it doesn't happen, there's no "bogus reporter prison".
