Two Deep it's hard for people to except reality.

I don't think that you want Dallas to have a losing season. Since Parcells left there has been many questionable personnel decisions made by management which resulted in these losing or 8-8 seasons.

So I think fans confuse your reality and solid observations with being negative.

In this case, he's just wrong.

He didn't. But, he wouldn't.

However, if he'd built a good argument, we'd respect his take whether it was positive or negative.

My words continually offend you,. Yet you give no credit to the fact they were correct two straight years. You attribute that to luck.

However, since the 2007 season I have been pretty consistently right about this team regardless of how you want to rewrite my predictions.

I can't help you or anyone else here.

Drafting OL will help, but I don't believe where Dallas drafts they will be able to latch onto players that will be what Smith was two seasons ago.

Dallas will go defense, because Jerry thinks the OL is fine.

The muddled crap on the OL will again keep Romo from closing the deal because of protection.

But as I said, they could pull a rabbit out of the hat. But going by their track record, that seems unlikely.

New defensive scheme, no significant upgrade to the OL, Romo continually his running around - with a potential that of the three - Lee, Murray and Carter that two of the three will be again hurt.

Ergo, a tougher NFC East along with the status quo for Dallas puts them in the cellar in my opinion.

You can choose to disagree, but please leave off your insight into what you think I think.

You've seldom been correct when you slip on your Madame Cleo gear.

Your tone where you talk down to everyone may have been effective as the Grand Poobah of the Ranch, but as an everyday typical poster, it really loses a great deal of it's effect.

As for your words offending me, again you flatter yourself. I responded to your original post not because I was offended, but simply because you gave nothing to back your opinion on. You still haven't. Somehow in your mind you think that the Giants, Eagles and Commanders have suddenly become so much better than us that it's laughable to even argue against the original author's work.

Heck, I even forgot a few things like Ware's injury and the fact the Eagles have completely cleaned house in my starter's list for you.

As for your predictions, I honestly couldn't tell you any of your predictions on the team. You generally are on the pessimistic side of things...I'd be surprised if you picked 8-8 both years, I would have expected it to be lower coming from you. Whatever you picked, you can't escape the fact that both years we were in the hunt coming down to the last week or two of the season. To think that injuries factored into at least one loss if not more wouldn't be unreasonable.

So, somehow in your mind this team has gotten old. Would you be surprised if I told you there are only 10 guys on the team that have been here longer than 4 years? Romo, Witten, Ware, Spencer, Ratliff, Scandrick, Free, Hatcher, La and Austin. We only have 8 guys that are 30 or older and of those, I would guess that not more than one or two of them at most will be significantly worse than they were a year ago. Average age of the current roster listed on DC.com is less than 26. If anything, the roster is likely to get younger throughout the remainder of the offseason. Name any guy that we have lost this offseason that you think is a significant loss.

Given the above, it means we have a lot of guys that have yet to hit their primes. Claiborne. Bryant. Lee. Carter. Crawford. Church. Johnson. Albright. Wilbur. Bailey. Tyron. Hanna. Costa. Lissemore. Harris. Leary. Coale. Beasley.

Free Agency still is a ways from being over. The draft is coming. There are likely to be 2-4 significant contributors that will be added to this team between those two items. Offensive lineman can come and be immediate starters. Defensive linemen in the draft can quickly be rotation guys. RB's can contribute from day one.

Kiffin's D is one that isn't complicated or tricky. Most of the time, teams know what they are going to face but it's just not really easy to make big plays against. And it's not just Kiffin coming in and having to teach the whole scheme. Marinelli knows it inside and out as well.

I am not going to argue Super Bowl. I think playoffs are within our reach if we have a better year health wise.

Great rebuttal by Iggles fan. Schein's original article is so ridiculously one sided it never gained any credibility.

Mentioning the Cowboys negatives is one thing. Mentioning other team's positives is another. Not looking at both sides of the coin is disingenuous and assinine, assiten and asseleven.

Stopped reading right there.

Truth hurts.

Time to look ourselves in the mirror for what we are.

He's a Cowboy hater who forgets that Dallas was a Dez finger away from sweeping his beloved Giants. What a fool.

Just like we were a tear-away jersey from beating the 49ers in the 1981 NFC-CG.

Useless analogy.

There's good news and bad news for the Dallas Cowboys.

The good news is, they won't have to hear the familiar refrain this season that they're once again underachieving and failing to live up to their incredible talent.

The bad news is, that's because the Cowboys are the flat-out worst team in the NFC East and one of the four worst teams in the conference. It's not even up for debate.

Owner Jerry Jones has gone about managing his coaching staff the wrong way. Dallas has yet to make a single offseason addition that will either shore up a major hole or strengthen the roster. It's a recipe for disaster.

What's to like about the Cowboys? Where are they strong?

worse than the eagles? with a glass for a QB? losing players and installing a new system and a new head coach? worse than AZ? Worse than the Rams? Or panthers? or the lions? and what have Chicago done? new coach? add bennett (oooh I shiver in fear of bennett).

but not by much. Rams will be better than us very soon and the Cards are bad but not horrible. We are a perennial .500 team that isn't getting any better. Don't expect glowing articles about us boys.

Right. Cowboys fans and the media love to exaggerate the talent level on this team both good and bad. We are not the worst team in the NFC but with last years squad I didnt feel particularly confident that we were going to win each game regardless who we were playing. Thats the mark of a pretty bad team.

Second that. He is the "nails to chalkboard" of all radio and from what I heard never had a good thing to say about the Cowboys EVER!

How exactly are the Eagles better than the Cowboys?? The Giants split there season series with the 'Boys and should have lost both.

What a tool.

There wasn't much complaining when he picked us to win the East in 2007. Imagine that.

His voice is like nails on a chalkboard, though.

There probably wasn't much complaining because that prediction likely happened in the body of a reasonable article.

It's not the negative sentiment at issue here, it's that the bad conclusion is drawn from garbage arguments.

Wow... I have no issue with anyone trashing the Cowboys for legitimate reasons, but this doesn't even deserve to be published on bleacher report.

I feel foolish for reading the article.

his analysis is much closer to the truth and it isn't even close. Time will tell.

Seahawks, 49ers, Falcons, Packers, Bears, Commanders, and Saints all have an argument for being better than us currently. Giants are probably on par. I'd take on the Rams, Vikings, Panthers, Bucs, Lions, Cardinals, and Eagles any day. Middle of the pack in the NFC is a fair current assessment, until we see otherwise.
