Schottenheimer: Dak was in a good spot in the 2nd half

can you dumb down an offense more than throwing 80% of your passes less than 5 yards?

Imagine a world where an entire organization has to play afraid because their franchise qb is pathetic.

BS needs to go too with Dak and MM after this observation. We need an innovative coach on offense. I thought we should have went after Campbell when we hired MM. No search wad conducted...theirs minds were already set just like past hires. That's why we've been stuck

lol I live in the Pacific NW and all the Seattle fans around here couldn't wait until this guy was out of town. Of course Dallas hired this clown. We bark up all the hot coaching trees!!

49ers don’t play much man, they play cover 3 mainly zone and they had success in zone once again. Even last year I believe it was one of their corners that said after the gage Dak doesn’t throw well against zone. They started to play more man this year with Hicks and the TD from Turpin came against man and it was an overly aggressive and dumb play call. They went back to zone right after it.
Didn't SF play some man ?

Probably some, but they are bottom half in the league. They were 17 by the time they played Dallas, 22 when they played Giants 2 weeks ago. So the progression upwards makes sense as the QB position of those two teams was in doubt, especially with DJ and the Giants OL not being able to block anybody.

My point is I don’t think this man was much an influence, as they basically only moved the ball and scored a TD against man coverage on Turpin and the play before it I believe. SF is a heavy zone team.

On the other hand Dallas is at number 2 right now in playing man, while they were 1 for the majority of the season.

I was in such a good spot in the second half, that I found myself watching X Files reruns!

The family is definitely going to have to do an intervention.
