Best shape of his life was many moons ago. He's more brittle of late and I've said it the past two seasons that his running comes with much higher risks than when he was a rookie. Prescott can't do what Hurts, Allen, Daniels, Jackson and other young bucks can do. He was never really fast to begin with. Whatever he has left to do as the Cowboys QB he will have to do IN (and from) the pocket. And that means a renewed, pronounced focus on the o-line and RB.

Personally, I think the window has passed him by. The Cowboys have fallen back from where they were in 21-22'. The conference and the division are now far more hostile to a potential championship run.

It was sarcasm, but yeah I think his already limited wheels are even more limited now. It's a scary thought. I still believe he needs to bootleg to the side and does good work outside the pocket but he isn't running unless it's a short distance. I'm definitely concerned his body is washed. Starting to give off that Aikman, Romo vibe where you grimaced every time they took a hit.

Well, Dak did play at an elite level No-Schott's first year as coordinator here ... up until the playoffs. So it just depends on the interpretation of elite.

I'm pretty positive "elite" means playoffs.

I believe Dak's "elite" playing days are behind him. Especially coming back from his injury that will surely keep him from running with the football. But, hope springs eternal.

Yes. Obviously the only other option from broken down Dak is the worst QB's we ever had here. No possibility that they find anyone better.

Dak needs good o-line protection to be effective. The worst is an under pressure scrambling Dak...which is pretty much what we saw before his injury this season. But, even if Dak had the best protection in the NFL, he's still going to make key mistakes in the biggest games. He will throw the picks at the worst possible time. We've seen it. There is no way on Earth Dak is ever going to get us to the promised land. It's not happening. They keep trying to sell it but I'm never buying it. The only question I have is when is Dak going to get injured again and miss half a season.

I support them.
It is the ones that are repeated over and over and over, without merrit. The ones some fans will not read an article, and repeat the same hate against anything positive.

I am critical myself at times. But I state it and move on, and respond accordingly from there. Pro or Con. If someone posts something positive, I will agree or disagree, if I have negative opinion on it.
