This was just small portion about what he said about Guyton. His work ethic has been excellent this offseason.
I hope the Cowboys knew that before drafting him. I wasn't familiar with him in college but when I saw him last year i'm like oh he's a lanky basketball player...which his athleticism can make up for his lack of strengh but like you said he has to be strong enough for it to come together so I hope that's the goal this offseason.I agree.
I doubt he’ll ever be a ‘powerful’ left tackle, but I’ll settle for strong enough.
I think I now know why he never did the bench press on record.
Jerry and his fans love leaving HOF Olinemen in their wake with wasted careers blocking for untalented loser QBs.Now you're tripling down on it. Keep it up.![]()
Of course you will. Why hear what was actually said.I’ll pass.
All reports did indicate he did look good, though. I think even Nate co-signed it at the time. But the games came, and that guy wasn't there. But it's just different in practice. You question the speed these guys are even going to begin with. They did the same thing last May and the. Backtracked once the season progressed. The only one who keeps it real with the o-linemen whose opinion I take seriously is Nate Newton. He was the only one last summer who was critical or suspicious of Guyton's performance/technical craft.
Deflecticon....you're the only one to mention Jerry. Nice try.Jerry and his fans love leaving HOF Olinemen in their wake with wasted careers blocking for untalented loser QBs.
Take the QB position as serious as you take RG and see real success.
Until then stay losing.
Because he’s a puppet HC just like he was a puppet OC last year.Of course you will. Why here what was actually said.
Better than bad news or no news at all about Guyton don’t you think? But instead you choose to take a dump on the good news.I hope he can take a significant leap, but when is the last time we've heard a coach say a player has looked bad at OTAs? Even last year he was severely overhyped between OTAs, camp, and preseason work only to end up one of the worst Tackles in the league come time for the real games.
Is “Deflecticon” a new transformer?Deflecticon....you're the only one to mention Jerry. Nice try.![]()
feels so goodLOL, you are crazy!
It for sure is. He's from Philly. Is “Deflecticon” a new transformer?
Oh so he’s a winner? It for sure is. He's from Philly.
It's a shame that just isn't true and ruins your entire post. Not committing one ridiculous penalty after another would be a huge improvement. He led the league in OL penalties, in spite of sitting out half the snaps.
LolBecause he’s a puppet HC just like he was a puppet OC last year.
He’s there to prop up Jerry’s product and have fans like yourself buy it.
depends when did he play for them...2 in 60+ years gives him a slight chance of being a winnerOh so he’s a winner?
Not at all. Not that gutter of a city.Oh so he’s a winner?
Yeah also winning 2 out of 5 times for most is not considered a winner lol.depends when did he play for them...2 in 60+ years gives him a slight chance of being a winner
I'm probably being a tad overdramatic, but I think, assuming no big injuries and everyone else plays relatively close to expectations, that the entire season hinges on Guyton and/or Steele playing well. With Dak continuing to lose mobility we can't afford for him to rush throws or go deer in headlights because he's running for his life from his blind side. We can probably be a playoff team if Guyton plays well and Steele is a JAG. We cannot afford to have the tackle play we did last year and have any success. Really wish they'd go get a proven swing tackle.Guyton improving and holding down the left tackle position would be huge for the team this season.
I hope he’s gotten stronger this year.
