Schottenheimer: These guys are confident. We're a good team

To be fair Dallas' errors were in execution. The Giants just played stupid football with penalties. To me it all evened out in the end.

Giants at home was either the easiest or second easiest game they will play all year (@Carolina). This year is going to be tough unless a lot of stuff gets fixed.
We have no idea which teams are going to be good or bad yet. Did anyone predict the Chiefs would be 0-2?

We dont really have zone coverage type of players and it shows

This was Rob Ryan levels of bad

This team is not a contender with the defense it fields.

It has the potential to be one of the worst in the history of the NFL. Why we insist on playing zone is beyond me.

Just stack the damn box and take the run away, play man across the board with disguised blitzes, hope the big stuff over the top is limited and hope for the best.

Enough of whatever in the hell that was on defense.

A couple of things are hurting this secondary IMO.......
Badly misses Micah's pressures
Misses J Lewis
Diggs is a liability.....
Need to bench Hooker and Wilson
Micah's pressures were a lot of the reason for Diggs and Bland etc cooking. I know you know...

J Lewis we do miss desperately - leadership, grit.

Is Houston our best rusher? Williams? Hopefully the rookie grows into a productive role

I appreciate his confidence
Fake confidence.

It's almost like he's trying to convince himself.

When you're confident...you don't go around announcing you're confident...you just ARE confident, and you don't have to tell anyone, because they know it. You just walk around...looking for someone to dare challenge you.

We needed our kicker to pull a horseshoe our of our but, just to eek by a bottom 5 team.

1. Shotty sucks at calling plays. The offense is typically talented enough to execute but gets little schematic help or any help from schotty.

2. All Dallas DB's that played need to be replaced. Diggs might as well just stayed rehabbing, he can't make routine plays now.

That sh## reminded me of the 1995 season, when the 49ers came to Dallas with Grbac and romped. The secondary couldn't find the hash marks on the field...let alone the receivers.

That said, they did keep the score close through three quarters, but the breakdowns were simply too numerous and egregious. Even the best d-lines can't cover up that type of substandard play. It can't be that losing Bland causes something close to complete collapse. Wilson can still hurt you but compared to the week before (when his passer rating was 58.3) it looked like a seven on seven drill.

If Prescott is forced to throw the ball over 50 times per game this season won't end well. The Cowboys are still not running the ball like they should be running it. Hurts won today (at Arrowhead) with just 100 yds passing (216 yds total offense)...which means the Chiefs (0-2) are in real trouble.
Bland didn't play today.

Shotty got his first win as hc before hall of famer Ben Johnson and Aaron Glenn. Hmm..

But but I thought BEN AND Aaron were going to win a game first? Just wondering
