i want nothing to do with garrett 2.0.
i'd be "excited" if they named the janitor hc...as long as it's not garrett 2.0.

Garrett 2.0 now is better than Campo/ Wade 2.0 which is what Schottenhiemer would be. A Schottenhiemer hire would represent a bridge to Witten, and that’s asinine. You hire Schottenhiemer, in 2-3 years you get your Garrett 2.0 in Witten. Might as well get over with Moore I suppose, though with Moore could be a bridge to Witten to, so idk.

i have no idea what schottenheimer may be as a hc.
he never even called plays here as oc.
but i want NOTHING of the garrett/linehan coaching tree.
given the choice between moore or schottenheimer...give me schottenheimer.
at this point it's starting to look like he's the only one who wants the job...consideing who the gm is.

it sounds like we get witten in 2-3yrs...regardless if its moore...schottenheimer...lynn...frazier...or saleh.
i don't understand why he then just doesn't hire witten and get on with it.
its clearly what he wants.

Yeah. My guess is Kellen wasn't interested in what they were offering but was doing the Joneses a courtesy (you'd be insane to turn down a HC interview, even if you know it won't work out). Hence the shift to Schotty, who suddenly became the favorite almost immediately following Moore's interview.

Like you said, Moore was probably advised he can make more money anf find a better situation either by reupping with the Eagles, waiting till next year, or even winning one of the other openings that aren't as desired

He at least had the Dan Marino card to play from his Miami days too. You wont get an argument from me in favor of Schottenheimer. I'm probably one of the more pro Schottenheimer guys on the board, but fully agree that he has the resume of what should be a run game coordinator or advisor. Jerry and Stephen would be throwing qualifications out the window for this hire. If they want to go that route at least give a guy like Rob Ryan a HC opportunity....at least then the media sessions would be entertaining.

Look at the source. Mosher is a glorified fan blogger, and not anyone with sources. I doubt they had real interest in Moore. They fired him two years ago
