Much more likely that he took the interview because that's what you do when you are in his position and didn't like what he heard regarding control, free agency, years, money or all of the above
maybe.
but its also possible he blew another interview considering all the stories that came out about what a bad interview he is.
but it sounds like there were alot of...thanks but no thanks.

It was probably considered a rumor and why was taken down.

The Herd isn’t a reliable news source.

I’d suggest in the future without more reliable news sources to simply present as your opinion. Just like the Herd did. Or post in another forum besides main one.
I would disagree and consider Colin as somewhat reliable, he has sources all around him. I could have taken a pic of the heading, but copyright infringement I guess LOL

Psychopathy # 6 in the Jones Quiver.....find an unproven, unwanted, unheralded lackey, and like Svengali, get the full credit for recognizing value in someone in hopes of bolstering his own image.

The Herd might use some reliable sources to determine his thought but in the end he’s an opinionated source not a news service regardless if we believe his opinions to be sound.

that will be the day the cowboys legacy died. not because schottenheimer is the worst coach ever, but he is the ultimate grateful lapt dog that will not change culture or challenge coach Jones in any fashion......plus he is probably cheaper than all other options.

it. is. over. perhaps there is hope Jim Bob Cooper Jones the IV takes over in the late 21st century

This is the reason why I never get excited about head coaches being let go with the Cowboys.

Getting rid of Phillips, Garrett, McCarthy, etc. sounds great after years of failed seasons, but fans rarely consider who will replace them.

Fans like to think the next guy hired will be a Kyle Shanahan, Ben Johnson, etc. type of coach when in reality, Jerry will likely hire a coach that most other teams would not hire because he knows he can control him, and more importantly, he won't steal any of the credit or limelight from Jerry.
I don't think this team will see a good, solid head coach until Jerry is gone (or has to release power due to health issues) and the management structure changes.

Jerry is 82 and does not look like he's slowing down much, so I say another 10 - 12 years of this.

Detroit came to prominence once Martha Ford stepped down due to health and Sheila Ford Hamp took over. I think the same will happen once Jerry steps aside and his sons take over.

maybe kellen moore is not as sharp as some people think.
its possible he blew the interview.
Nah, and this coming from someone who doesnt want Kellen. He is smart enough not to get saddled with Jerrys BS and stuck with Dak, a declining Dak at that.

He will probably get hired by N.O. or wait til the next cycle.

there has to be a reason he gets passed over for these jobs he's interviewed for.
i don't think its because he's smart.
it might be he doesn't command the room.

After leaving Dallas he was OC for a yr with the Chargers and now with Philly. I think this is the first time his name has come up in a HC search and has only been interviewed by Dallas and N.O.

Even though he isnt a hot candidate he is still not desperate enough to work for Jerry and his BS. If he gets passed over it will only be by the Saints

You don’t have to be a drama queen about it.

well...he got passed over by every team that has filled its opening.
if they didn't interview him...he got passed over being a potential candidate...and if he interviewed he got passed over for the one hired.
it was thought he was in play here...new orleans and jax.
jax is filled...so he has 2 spots left.
if he does not get either...you do have to wonder maybe he isn't as great as some think he is.
