Schotty and Klayton Adams are pairing two different offensive schemes

Bottom line is that Moore’s offense doesn’t operate in a way that wins games like McVay and Shanahan and the coaches who run variations of the West Coast.

Those KM offenses led the NFL in yardage twice in three seasons. They definitely had substance.

this is the best coaching staff we have had since parcells. I like Adams, I like Parker. and I think schotty is more johnson like, but with less big stick.... he is differing to his coaches but staying involved and is trying to manage the psyche of the team.

the question is psyche of the team. be confident without being too cocky. stop talking. show with your play and just differ. stop talking big. be generic in answers.
 
All major decisions between Shotty and Klayton will be decided by hotdog eating contests.

I see what you did there, but not clever enough to stop my stupid brain from asking the questions: Would the sword fight be the slo-mo Kirk vs Trelane branch/saber type (link) or the Kenobi vs Anakin/Darth Where-The-Heck-Was-This-In-1977 lightsaber type (link)?

KM was definitely a part of the issue, but who is convinced that Dak still rolls snake eyes and has issues with 2nd, 3rd, reads, etc? If you want to discuss simplification and suggest that if he was GP and 88 back then, the issues wouldn't be what they were, but that's on the guys in front of him, not the ghosts and goblins in his head that still like to make an appearance at times. All this does if further mine and millions of others' point that Dakk and every other QB heavily rely upon coaching/personnel to succeed...thus, give credit where it's due not just to the guy throwing the ball
 
Kinda sounds like how I remember Parcells talking about how he didn't need an OC because he'd just run an offense that he would hate to have to defend. I'm taking liberties with paraphrasing though, I feel like.
 
listen, no one cares. get the person into the end zone. you dont need big words, you dont need words to spruce it up, this really mocks other coaches. "you all dumb and wont know whats coming" everyone knows whats coming, its the same style everyone elses plays, your guy has to beat my guy or my guy has to win the match up. dont complicate that which works. take Guy A, get him into the end zone. guy B and C will help out. if they can t understand that, they are in the wrong game.

I dont care how many Dez Bryants you have, did we win the super bowl? did we win a ton of play off games? no. Simple guy, simple objection. everyone has been doing it since the creation of the game. everyone has found that special player Hey Cleveland got Myles Garrett, did they win? no

"I don't know why I am being so technical. All we have to do is hand it off to Emmitt and throw it to Michael".

Good times when you can simplify things because your team is so much better than everyone else's. The Cowboys basically said "you know what we're going to do, dare you to stop it".

Yeah, the importance of giving Dak some time and a clean pocket cannot be overstated, not to mention a run game. They've got arguably the best WR tandem in the NFL and it's all for naught if this high risk gamble with Steele and Guyton and zero depth burns it all to the ground.

They certainly have depth issues along the line but they do have Bass. I would bet that by week 2, there will be a new face or 2 in the oline room.
 
Talking about running schemes always intrigues me because you can do so much around different formations, motion, alignment, etc but it still comes down the same run plays…power, iso, counters, trap, inside zone, stretch, toss/sweep and draws.

You listen to an offensive coach talk through it and its the most difficult thing you can imagine. You listen to a defensive coach talk through it and come away with the impression a 4th grader could design run plays.

Dak is one of the best in the league at reading defenses and hitting the open man.
