Shoddy is beginning to grow on me. The enthusiasm seems a little deliberate at times, but that’s what todays players probably respond well to.

It’s a typical Jerry hire, but Jerry wouldn’t not Jerry for anyone, except Parcells, and only when he needs a building funded.

MILES better than Garrett though. That guy was as disingenuous as it could get, and I’m sure the players tuned him out well before his departure. The monotone alone could put anyone to sleep. But Jerry was having fun. That’s the important part.

Yes, and I like that he's not cliche like Garrett was. He actually sounds like he speaks directly, which is a breath of fresh air compared to Garrett. I'm actually encouraged about him.

I hate to do it, I feel like everything seems too good to be real right now. Cowboys finally assembled a good offseason. However, something about "Shotty's Culture" I'm not buying. Who cares about culture sorry, in football you build culture by winning. Plain and simple.
You go win a super bowl, you don't build a super bowl winning culture. lol

Dallas, their coach, their players should all just shutup and go to work.

Yeah he doesn’t irritate me when he speaks. That helps.

I’m however growing a little tired of the “culture” talk being a bit over used (and seeming more and more deliberate) when we all know that not much is changing as long as the big boss and his ego are still around.

It’s nice to be encouraged for now, but is Lucy gonna stop holding media court outside the locker room and fully undermining the HC? No way.

Is he going to stop talking about players and game plans on the radio twice a week? Lol.

Not trying to piss on your Sunday morning my good friend, but it’s just reality….for now. We may get another day, or in your case…a day. You’re quite brave.

I will add this also about Steele as they feel he is set up to have a great year.

I know very few agree but I think Steele is going to be ok this year. I think it is overstated how bad he was. He is actually a good run blocker. He obviously whiffs way too often in pass protection and that needs to be worked on, but I do think between our OC and OL coach his technique there will improve this season and like they pointed out in the article, he has been a much better player with good RG play and for a good part of last year he didn't have that and even the year before Martin really wasn't the same player. .

What are you talking about? I haven’t seen Jerry say much of anything this offseason. In fact, he’s been rather quiet for a change. I see coaches and players talking about players and coaches but nothing from Jerry.

Naw I stopped reading before "You weren't supposed to read that post". Common sense says if you didn't want someone to read your post maybe you shouldn't have put it at the last sentence.....but you wanted people to read it. Next time try and make it a 10 page essay like Bluebloods does then maybe you will get your wish.
