Schotty calls out Steele

This is NOT good folks…on several levels.

A veteran tackle is a must, and if you’ve gotta start parting with higher picks, it’s probably a good idea.

I understand every position can’t be perfect, but the other side is a question as well. At best, the two tackles are the starters who rank 21 and 22. Not great for a passing team.

Please, please fix this. Im to where I’d be willing to part with serious draft capital.

Of course they could have cut Steele and saved 14 million against the cap, but Stephen saw a bargain because he had leverage. Things like this cost them routinely. You get what you pay for.

The guy stinks so you get him to take a pay cut. How about finding a suitable replacement instead of worrying about getting a bargain?

I'm on the Bass to RT bandwagon. Kind of lonely here tho...lol

Every time I watch a clip of the talking heads or people at practice, they all say "Turnstile" Steele is well... a "Turnstile".

They know what he is so idk why this is a surprise. Maybe we can find someone at final cuts

Can’t really do that. He is the backup for all three interior spots and he has never played an NFL snap there. I’m not putting him opposite Burns week one…but be assured that the Giants newly competent staff has taken note.

Note that they moved Thomas to the right side recently.

I can’t believe that they recently guaranteed the next two years for Steele. Just when you start to feel ok about things you learn of more boneheadedness, as determined by the great talent evaluator Stephen Jones’ assessment of what players are worth. Just horrible. They deserve to lose a season because you got your QB killed. We don’t.

They're hard to find especially this late
No, you can always find one if you are willing. Vet cut down day always has them, there are players available via trade if you are willing to pay the price and free agents
Most importantly we have known we needed one every day for the past 2 years so it shouldn't have gotten to this point

Steele and Guyton were the reasons why they hype about the offense was fraudulent last year. I don't care about receivers if the oline is trash.

We all knew this a couple of years ago. Since he came back from injury he has not been very good.

But, I think they have no choice but to go with him this year and hope a RT falls to them in the draft - or a LT so Guyton can move to the right side.

I know the common call is to go get a right tackle somewhere, but anyone that hits the street is going to be something like Steele. Solid RTs don't get cut.

I know most of you think schotheimer will be the bomb, but I'm telling you, I'm just a little bit concerned. I'm beginning to think I've seen this movie before.

That said Steele can be a dog.

I guess he's really having a bad camp. Either way they need to figure it out ..fast

You could see this coming a mile away.

Steele hasn't been good for some time. They should have June 1 cut him.
