No one says that here outside of the small group of fanboys he has.

Well he was but he ain't no more. But to be honest teams that blitz are more than likely bad teams that can't get pressure with 4. Last year I remember them beating the blitz with just plants. Nothing special. Probably was over exaggerated.

Schotty over his head.......Pickens taken out too easily, and the poor preparation with the blitz tells me a lot. No balanced attack.....low in rushing yardage. More alarming stats coming. No focus on the D prior to the last 2 games. The man's plate is too full. A below average football team that has garnered above average hype again.

After last night’s 23-13 loss at Green Bay, the league has Schotty and this scheme figured out.

The old formula to beat the Cowboys was simple: long, sustained drives that keep their offense off the field. That still works. But what’s new, and more damning, is that even when this offense is on the field, it no longer matters.

Schotty’s attack is pass-happy and one-dimensional.
They rank 31st in the NFL in rushing at just 76 yards per game.
Against Green Bay they managed 48.
Ten days earlier against Tampa Bay they had 50.
Meanwhile Dak is forced into nights like 54 pass attempts at a putrid 4.8 yards per attempt.
When you refuse to run the ball, defenses load the box, sit on the pass, and dare you to beat them.

Green Bay and Tampa Bay both did exactly that.

Look at the collapse. Early in the season they were scoring 30+.

The last two games? A combined 29 points.
They were shut out 17-0 in the first half last night for the first time since 2021.

Two interceptions. No identity. No sustained drives of their own.

Just a predictable, pass-first offense that can’t punish teams for selling out against the run.

Schotty is 9-13-1 as a head coach.

The same problems keep repeating. No commitment to the run game, soft early downs, and zero visible adjustments. Opponents know the formula now, control the clock and dare this offense to beat you through the air.

Both parts are working.

This team keeps showing up unprepared and unwilling. Winning a soft NFC East doesn’t fix any of it. It just means he gets another year while the rest of the league continues to prove they’ve already solved him.

The referees have bailed Dak out multiple times through the years, but now other teams are able to shut him down.
Schottenheimer was always going to be limited by Jerry's affection for Dak.

Meanwhile McCarthy is 4-2 in Pittsburgh and Moore has New Orleans playing inspired football. That team has very little talent and he is getting the most out of them.

Not that I wanted to keep either, it’s just further evidence that no one is going to succeed in Dallas.

I think my most get two seasons typically. But to be fair in 30 years no one would've hired him to begin with but Jerry.

Schottenheimer has sucked all but 4 years of a 20 year career before he was promoted to HC here.

Dak is a massive liablity, but Schotty isnt being hampered by him.

This team just isn't that talented.
There isn't a single GO-TO player on this roster.
.
RBs aren't a threat to anyone and, too often miss their blocking assignment.
WR can't fight off double coverage.
TEs are just average.
And the QB can't pre-diagnose the defense and too often plays like every down is a calculus IV final exam.

Even Collinsworth was commenting that our scheme isn’t taking getting our receivers open. It looks like they all run basic routes and turn to catch the ball. GB’s receivers were usually wide open even after Love had to scramble or stall a while. We’re not running well and we abandon the run quickly, even when our QB is getting hit.

I gave it a chance as a fan, but it's already clear that this experiment has run its course. This team will never go anywhere with him. The big question now is how hot his seat is. Will Jerry actually recognize his mistake, or will he run it back with this schmuck once again? All this has amounted to is another wasted season for us fans.

LOL. McCarthy was responsible for the first playoff loss to San Fran by coming unprepared and undiscplinced. 19 penalties.
