So I just want to make sure people don't mistake this guy even for a Blake Bortles blake Bortles and a guy like Mark Sanchez played consistent enough it may played in AFC championship games solely on teams you know they were great the defenses were great the run games were great but even those guys were a flash in the pan..

You know how long it's gonna take for us to even see if this guy's even capable of being a Blake Bortles?

You witnessed was against backups it was a throwaway game buffalo started all their backups it was basically a preseason game and that's great i'm happy he's here and and that he has a shot but using that one game is silly i'm sorry man you're you're putting too much into it...

He is just like Trey Lance right now in his development he is way behind he is raw he has yet to prove anything he's a big bodied version of Trey Lance that's what he is he he's built like Cam Newton trey Lance is built a little bit more like Lamar Jackson if you look at their frames all of them are mobile quarterbacks but they're built different but Trey Lance and Milton the one thing they have in common is they're really raw they did nothing in college and so far they haven't done enough to prove they're even going to be a backup in this league...

That doesn't mean I'm not pulling for the guy I hope he works out but people around here some of the dak haters they're already thinking that this guy should replace Prescott at some time during this season just like they were all dreaming that rush was better when people say Cooper Rush was better than Prescott we would call those haters... It's just being delusional that's not watching closely at which your eyes are actually seeing and you're hoping so much that Prescott gets replaced that's your overrate what you're seeing..

I an glad that it was a regular season game, although against non-starters. He proved that he can play at a NFL level. Playing during preseason would prove your point, but these players are legit. Let the man progress before we rehash his pee wee, high-school and college play on a continuous reel.
 
Milton is a solid player and gives us a reliable backup behind Dak. If Dak ever goes down with an injury again, Milton could eventually step in as the starter and maybe even take over the job down the line.

Let’s not forget—people used to say Dak was just a running QB, with average arm strength and not much consistency.

The Patriots traded Milton because they didn’t want a quarterback controversy on their hands—simple as that.

We’re lucky to have him here in Dallas, and honestly, he could end up being Dak’s replacement in the future if things play out that way.

No my statement was for everyone,, that's how I feel about Milton too many people there are some people like ask Joe king Mr Troll saying we should cut Prescott and move on to the Milton era ,as if this dude's going to do something, come on man you guys are living in La La Land right now that was a message to everyone on that thread that's it..

Right now he'd be lucky to become a backup that's it we're hoping that that is his ceiling he becomes a here's a good comp like Tyrod Taylor or Jacoby Beret got like that been running around doing pretty well backing teams up spot starting you know maybe get an athletic version of Cooper Rush a backup that could do a little more but right now this dude is basically trade Lance with more muscle on him that's it he's a big bulked up version of Trey Lance he's basically a poor man's version of Cam Newton right now i'm just saying right now..

I agree it's mostly true but there are times where savvy trays are made and some people trick teams and they giving up some high draft picks for a quarterback or something and then they typically would be picking in the 20s have come across some top ten picks.

We get that but I can agree with what you said initially as it's mostly true that bad teams typically pick in the top ten however there are exceptions...
