I would put Schultz and Hayden Hurst in roughly the same tier of TE. If Schultz would sign for say, 3-years/$22-24M I’d be fine bringing him back.

Ive seen super high estimates on him. Like 15m a year. I wonder if he is available because those highest paid TE offers arent materializing

I feel the same. I think that we can replace what he does with what we currently have. If we wanted to upgrade with a seam stretcher, we now have that flexibility. Will we, unsure, but this opens up that possibility.

Time to move on from Shultz, he's not a difference maker and the Draft is heavy in tight ends and running backs, so you can pick up a young athletic tight end and a running back on the cheap
