problem for him to comeback at a reasonable price would be less than what he made last season on the tag. Which is why he should have never been tagged last year. He should have been bye bye already.

This guy ready to take honest offer? 3 for 20? Does he even have market? Low ball him
No don’t sign this guy because then we’re the ones stuck with an overpaid TE who blocks like Diggs. Let some other suckers pay him.

Does he even have market?

Somebody will sign him but not for what he thinks he is worth. He is not an elite level te that he thinks he is. Cowboys overpaid him last year.

-PFF has him ranked third among all remaining free agents
-CBS sports same thing - third amongst all remaining
-NFL.com has him 5th of those remaining FA

Yeah it's concerning that he's still out there. I don't want him back under any realistic deal. Find a seam stretcher.
If the TE market is indeed weak I wouldn’t hate taking a shot at signing Mike Gesicki. He would definitely add a different dimension to the offense

Pass catching TEs definitely have a market. He'll 100% be one a roster next year and contribute

Yeah, but under what contract. I don't believe the underlying sentiment is he will be forced to retire.

Hes just not worth what he is asking for.

Why do Cowboys fans either overrate or underrate our players? Strangest thing.

Many have silly opinions and they don't bother to take 45 seconds to google around to see if their opinion makes any sense.

Schultz is an average TE. The lack of
Him signing so far is proof of that. If he was all that somebody would have signed him by now.

Probably not going to happen. Every time I see a market value, the player either signs for close to it, or for more, never less. His market value is listed at 15.1M. Three years for 20M doesn't even come close. Some team with plenty of cap room might sign him close to his market value.
Good WRs are signing for $11M AAV this year. Schultz will get less than that. He had less than 600 yards and averaged barely more than 10 ypc last year. He’ll probably sign somewhere for $8-9M AAV. I can see him taking a 1 year deal to try to increase his value for next offseason.

He will for sure have a market. The question is how much are teams willing to pay, so the Cowboys will see and match it if its within what they will pay for.

Exactly where did you get this "market value" amount for Schultz?

I never thought he'd get more than 7-10 mil/season. Who claimed it was 15?

Don't worry, someone out there is going to overpay, He has too much productivity over the past few years to be ignored.
