Yes he is but please don't go off of just highlights. Everyone looks great in highlights. Critchton is who I hope we target if we trade back. My favorite DE in this draft. Yes even over Clowney.

Like him as well, think he's somewhat underrated. Kind of reminds me of Chandler Jones, though not quite as tall.

No not everyone look great in highlights. Besides, his energy is consistent thru out the whole "highlight" reel. That type of attitude is what this team lacks. He loves to play this game!

Looks more like a SDE than a WDE to my eye, and those highlights appeared to have him playing there also. We actually are pretty good depth at SDE right now, but at WDE there is Selvie and that's it! Maybe Spencer and Rayford - two big IFs. So why not target a WDE early in the draft instead?

I've been mocking him in the 2nd, but he won't drop that far IMO. I think he's just a plug andplay guy. I think he's a very safe pick also.

Why not target the best football player? he is a pass rusher , and he played both side thru out the video.

I agree with the talent evaluation for Crichton and also feel he falls between our picks at 16 and 47 if I had to guess about 35-40 after the run on WR/Oline/CB. Be aware there is still lots of talent in that second rd. Possibly Tuitt/Hegeman/Attachou all have a chance at 47. Hegeman is not currently on everyone's radar in the second rd according to the media as some consider him still somewhat of a project. Not in the same vein as Ziggy Ansah from last year who went to Detroit, more towards SMU player(Estonian) from last year Margus Hunt that Cincy picked up at 53.

Pet cat, for sure. I like this guy a lot.

Unfortunately, he's one of those guys that isn't highly rated enough for 16, but not low enough to make it to 2. Guys like Ford, Ward, Chricton, UCLA guard...some of my favourite players in this draft are those late first rounders.

My dream scenario ATM would be to trade down, grab Chricton, trade up in 2 and grab Ward. Two of my favourites who I expect to do really well in the NFL

theres just too many good players in that category, some of them will fall down for sure

Yeah 16 is too rich for him. I'd love moving down and taking him, as others have said.

He does nothing tremendously, but is good to really good at everything. Plays with a nice blend of power and athleticism, and plays HARD. High motor hustler. Sort of reminds me of Jared Allen actually... not a guy who "wow's" you with his quickness or length, but who gets the job done with a blend of it all and through effort. I like him better than Ealy despite Ealy's higher ceiling.

If we drafted Crichton, he's be our starting LDE (strong side), and would allow Crawford to rush from the inside, which he's more suited for IMO. He'd also insure against a Melton injury, because we could move Crawford to 3T full time if Crawford wasn't starting at LDE.

on path to the draft Davis had 8 WR's in his 1st round and if you add the 4 quarterbacks that pushed a lot of guys down. The other guy had 7 WR's in the 1st.

I do. Clowney might be better but you have to look at value. Clowney picked at top 5 or critchton picked last 1st. I like Critchton work ethic and motor much more than Clowney. I would rather invest a late round pick in critchton than a top 5 pick in clowney.
Clowney might turn out the better player but by how much? Also he will always cost you a fortune more i'm the future.
