A jury found Scott Peterson guilty of first-degree murder in the death of his wife, Laci, and of second-degree murder in the death of their unborn son today. The verdict reached by the six-man, six-woman jury leaves Peterson facing a possible sentence of death or life in prison without parole.

I'm sure this won't be a popular opinion, but they convicted the guy purely on circumstantial evidence. Not one whit of hard fact that you can hold in your hand.

Kind of a odd to me how screwed up California juries are, that they can acquit O.J. Simpson w/ butt-loads of solid material, yet convict this guy purely on appearances.

Yep.

I agree on many of your points. I think Peterson did it (just like OJ BTW) but the evidence was scant.

But I will enjoy seeing the bastid in prison regardless. It may not have been a fair verdict but it was the right one.
