Whatever Marinelli was limited to because of having to play mostly backups and 3rd stringers for this game, Philly fully capitalized on it. At 1 point I think 32 of 38 Wentz passes were to TE's and RB's.

I thought Philly would experiment more in the last game. But, they went with the dink and dunk. I guess Philly will be doing the same thing next year. I doubt they will change. What was the point of throwing to Sproles and Ertz all game? Why not evaluate some other players?

Move Cleary to the right side!

This is the first year in a while where I feel like I see lots of coaching happening, versus counting on talent to execute plays.

Also, my favorite thing about this team is the hitting on D. Man, they are bringing it every game and it's not just Wilcox! I love watching this D play...can't remember the last time I said that!

Ever since Dak and Ezekiel started having the high level of success we're seeing this year, the defense has been on a steady course upward. It's no small wonder the entire team is performing with such success. They've become about as intense in their efforts as I've seen in ages.

Apparently that's where their OC thought the low hanging fruit was on defense.

Philly had no one to throw to besides backs and Ertz, the TE.
Once we pulled Carr and Scandrick, our secondary was Brown, McFarland, and a bunch of safeties.

That said, Byron Jones has struggled more with TEs than I recall from last year.

I don't think I would agree with that, Jones played mostly CB last year. This year he has given up plays to TEs for sure, but I think that is more about being isolated on them as the FS and the fact the coaches trust him in those situations.

Anyone know what play he is referring to here:
Yeah how don't you know what play this is lol. He only got his arm hit like this once and that's the play. I think it was the last snap he played too

I think you and others recall game is in shambles. Who are these TE that have gotten off on us where they are the main reason we lost or potentially lost a game?

I don't think we should overreact to one game of a 3rd string QB playing behind mostly backups... but yeah, that performance was one of the buttfumblest showings ever.

Who on the OL were mostly backups? Cleary, Looney, and Seymour are the backups. And Cleary did well.

Goodness, I have been complaining about Damian Wilson for about a year and a half. Complaining how the Cowboys should have selected Stephon Diggs (who was selected about 20 picks later).

Now Wilson is making his move into the limelight. I am starting to smell roasted crow in the oven now. Time will tell if I am going to have to take a big bite.

Man, Sanchez must be one of the smartest X's and O's guys out there, because that dude is terrible in game.

Wilson's been playing pretty good this year. He's looked instinctive and at times explosive. He's definitely still raw, and that long Carson Wentz run on 3rd down was all him. But he's solid depth right now with potential. It's nice to get starters and surprises in the 4th round like Dak, but a Wilson is still a win. He could probably start for some teams.

Gachkar has always been a good athlete, think he ran something like a 4.5? at his college Pro Day and his shuttle was elite like. Good to see Rod getting the most out of him, probably his last year in Dallas though.

I think the TE stuff was actually how they gameplanned it. If it were me, and we're facing those QB's and secondaries in the NFC, I'd have worked on taking the outside game away too, even if it meant Ertz catching a lot of balls. Sean Lee will be playing in the future, and he's a big part of the pass defense in the middle of the field.

Irving's versatility is a strength, not a question to ponder. Put him over the guy you think he has the best matchup against, if he does poorly there, put him at the other position. The way he's been playing, he'll get a favorable matchup against somebody.

Cleary is a huge dude with 34+ inch arms, there might have been a PS eligibility thing when he got waived by the Giants, but we obviously had a little interest in him to pick him up after they waived him. Bounced around a lot but he looked okay when he played. They have his rights through 2017 so might be someone to watch in camp if they keep him. Plus, his first name is Emmett, I mean come on.
Sanchez is the platoon commander in the armored personnel carrier in Aliens.
