Same. I don't trust the resources though. A lot of the time they just start agreeing with each other because there is less accountability that way.

Didn't they all love fellow Oregon Duck and top 10 pick Dion Jordan too? He's been a flop.

Not to the extent the Dolphins apparently did. That pick shocked me then and still makes me laugh.

But they did have overinflated grades last year for Arik Armstead IIRC.

I think I carry an Oregon pass rusher bias. Don't know if that's historically warranted or not.

There is almost 0% chance Romo starts every game the next 2 seasons. It has much more probable he misses several games if he even plays 2 more seasons so that first pick will not sit for 2 years

Another factor is that Franchise QBs are extremely rarely available in FA but you can get other need positions filled since we have cap space

It would be almost criminal not to take one of the top QBs in the draft

Stephen and Mcclay need to let Jerry go on a shopping spree in FA so he doesn't feel unsatisfied with the 4th overall pick being spent with a mind on the future.

Yay, let's reach for a QB just because we "have" to take 1! That always works well out well and has never set a franchise back....

People are making this QB argument way too overly complicated, there's no reason to be talking about it still. If 1 of the QB's left after the Browns is ranked in our top 10 pre draft you take that player. If not you take the highest ranked player on your board. Not that difficult. But picking 1 of these 3 QB's simply because we may not pick at 4 again is idiotic at best.

I hope so man, I honestly do. But I have my doubts there will be 2 QB's in our top 10.

Personally have no doubts that Goff belongs in the top 5. Also don't have doubts about Lynch not being in the top 10 and definitely not for this coaching staff. That leaves the great debate on Wentz...the only thing I can say with confidence about him is that myself and everyone on this board has no clue. Not enough out there to determine that. All up to our coaches and scouts. The crappy part is that they probably already know whether they would take him or not too, and we are in limbo til late April.
