You know, I'd like a franchise quarterback prospect too to take over after Romo is done.
But ... if we don't go that route, we can STILL set ourselves up pretty with four potential starters.
That's the big dilemma ... is two (your future quarterback + your second round pick and third rounder*) better than four (the players you can get in a trade down).
* I'm saying two because essentially the first round quarterback isn't going to play in another two years while the four picks we make (assuming we trade down and pick up an extra pick in the second) between rounds one and three will likely be starter material.
