See how well that works out for you. I think you guys are being way too melodramatic, and I think you guys actually like it, because then you can all complain. It allows you all to pretend you are superior human beings to those who get upset, are sarcastic, or expect more from the team.

Either that or maybe you shouldn't be a moderator since it appears to be so stressful for you.

As much as i respect and admire the fairness of this site, there are times i wish i ran this ***** and i could just gut posters at will.

Should we as fans not be allowed to critique? Should we be allowed to post only "rah-rah" stuff and nothing else?

when all you post is complaints it gets old quickly

folks don't complain when someone has something negative to say, but when all they have is negative things to say, it's pretty clear they aren't much of a fan and only trying to stir up crap.

I say what i want when I want and I dont care if it's not part of the trend. You can add me to the ignore list if you wish. Then one day you so called upper class posters can just have a perfect little Forum. A Place where everybody agrees with you.

For the record, it's not cool to disagree or to buck trends when your reasons for doing so aren't actually right. That's called Trying to Get Attention, and it's annoying, even in an anonymous chat room.

Perhaps you should research the posting history of the poster being criticized, before you leap to his defense... let's just say that he seems to make a special effort to be obnoxious and annoying...

I also post what I want when I want and I don't care if it's not part of the trend... and some posters in here don't like that; I can't imagine caring...

But again, if you go look at JVita's posting history, I'll wager that you'll find him obnoxious and annoying, too... you might even wind up embarrassed that you ever stuck up for him, 'cause he really doesn't deserve it...

Posters like him wind up extremely unpopular, and he's reaping the consequences of his past history in here... he disrespects the board with his rotten' tude, so in return he gets widely disrespected... this is a Golden Rule kind of a place, we tend to treat people the way they treat us... give a little respect, you get a little respect...

Seems fair to me... but again, I don't recall you getting treated the way we've treated him in this thread, and I don't recall you ever giving us any reason to...

You are right about one thing, though, this board has cliques... they're made up of guys who like each other's posting style, so they've become online buddies... the posters in here that I like are the ones who goof around, get silly... I mess with them, and they mess with me, and it's all good... that seems pretty natural to me...

What's funny about your little rant is you're going off on one of this board's most popular posters, and more to the point, one its most PATIENT posters... a guy who tries real hard to get along with everybody...

Yes sir, you have to be a cosmic JERK to get on Hos's bad side...

Those of us who know him know he was being semi-playful when he made the remarks that you just ranted about... the guy purely hates having to use his mod's powers, he'll let a lot of things slide that other mods won't...

In fact, he may be the only mod in here who has never given me an infraction, LOL...

But yeah, I do most assuredly consider myself to be a superior human being to JVita, who is known on this board mostly for vigorously defending that piece of crap Michael Vick, and for expressing the opinion that he really didn't think that dogfighting was all that bad...

Yup, I'm confident that I'm superior to anybody who thinks like that... I find myself hoping that you simply didn't know JVita's history when you launched into this defense of him... suffice it to say that Vick isn't the only piece of garbage that this guy regularly sticks up for... and suffice it to say that there are a lot of people in here who dislike him rather strongly, and from where I sit, they're quite justified in feeling that way...

I've been on this board for a long time now, and it is my perception that the folks in here only "gang up" on posters who deserve it... note that I don't consider you one of them, I just think you're a little misguided here...

But to return to my original assertion as I wrap this up, Hos is not one of those who ever gangs up on anybody, and I have never known him to abuse his powers as an admin... I am quite sure that he has never even considered doing so to JVita, though many in here would applaud him if he did drop the ban hammer on him... once again, your patronizing words directed his way were quite misguided..

Fred is an old and dear friend of mine from the glory days of the Cowboys newsgroup, one of the few online posters I've ever had the chance to meet in real life... such a good friend that he showed up for my Mom's funeral...

So trust me when I say I was not giving him grief... I wouldn't do that to him... he's forever exempt from my legendary sarcasm and 'tude...

He wasn't critiquing anything, he was being an ***. Starting a thread suggesting we get rid of "America's team" in a Cowboys forum is about as dumb as it gets. I'm all for speaking ones mind on this team, it deserves to be bashed sometimes, but what he did wasn't even close to being cool.
