scandrick is coming off of a bad knee injury no way he will be the player he was before until at least next year. as is dez as Is romo as is Crawford

Very few people think we aren't a legit contender this year. Those few will be proven incorrect.

We are legit when healthy. A contender? That remains to be seen if we actually obtain defensive line help/depth in the draft primarily (among other things).. Our defense was DONE by early 4th quarter in many of the games they played last year (even the two that included Tony Romo). Depth is a must so that those guys up front can rotate and remain fresh.

A future franchise QB, a RB, and DLINE depth. Gotta have them. Then we can start to size up this "contender" talk.

Amen! Also lets stop thinking we can't find impact players in the 2nd,3rd and 4th rounds AND free agency. The one thing I do know is you will not find a franchise qb in free agency.
Its not an either/or situation. Make the team better for this year while avoiding 10 years of Quincy Carter qb play.

Stop Talking About the Cowboys 'Window'

I get tired of hearing about the Cowboys approach to the 2016 NFL Draft should be about the club’s “window”. My twitter page gets loaded up with comments like that.

Or the whole take advantage of the “window” of quarterback Tony Romo argument for the justification of passing on a signal caller with the fourth overall pick.

4-12 teams don’t have a Super Bowl window.

Jason Garrett has coached the Cowboys for five full seasons and generated just one winning year.

That does not make a “window" friends.

Don’t give me the “If Romo and Dez are healthy” argument, either.

I get tired of hearing about the window too. They always do better when the expectations are low. We all seen that there's some holes on this team besides not having a healthy Quarterback. It would actually be nice to see this team have 2 good seasons in a row. All of us fans would be shocked if we ever see that happen but it's more likely we'll continue to ride the rollercoaster that goes with this team and that sucks
